Trader Tardigrade is a pseudonymous chart-pattern analyst who posts Bitcoin, Ether and Dogecoin charts to about 77,000 followers on X as @TATrader_Alan. Almost every post is bullish: a pattern, a “next stop” and a rocket. Their bottom calls in June and August came good. Their spring calls that the bottom was in, and every big Ether target, did not.
In short. Trader Tardigrade posts as @TATrader_Alan. On our sample of twelve calls (6 Bitcoin, 6 Ether) from 18 March to 1 October 2026 the record is 4 played out, 3 open, 5 went against. The hits are the 2 June Ether dip, the 21 August Bitcoin bottom and two short-range levels. The misses are the 3 May Bitcoin bottom call, two Ether pullbacks that never came and the large Ether targets.
The @TATrader_Alan account was opened in February 2022. The display name is Trader Tardigrade, the location field says “Not Financial Advice • DYOR”, and the bio reads “Education first, transparent collaborations only.” We found no real name, country or interview, so we treat the account as pseudonymous.
Their method is classic chart patterns: channels, wedges, triangles, inverse head and shoulders, cup and handle and “Double Dip” fractals of past cycles, plus Ichimoku, RSI and MACD. Many posts compare the chart to 2015, 2018, 2022 or 2025 and end with a question mark or a rocket. A large share of the output is about Dogecoin, which this site does not chart.
The long-range targets are very large: “$30,000 per each ETH is coming 🔥” (3 May), an Ether “Breakout target: $26,000” (15 September), an Adam and Eve pattern “with a target up to $18,000” (7 October), and a Bitcoin “Next overshoot target: $170k-$600k” (15 June). We graded the dated, nearer calls. Our sample is the 480 of their own posts that their X profile feed returned from 18 March to 13 October 2026; the feed returned few posts from June to August, so that stretch is thinly covered.

Pattern first, rocket second. Tardigrade names a pattern, points to the same shape in an earlier cycle and gives the next target, as in “Same structure. Same pattern. Same momentum shift on the indicator.” Pullbacks are framed as buying chances (“The dip is where you accumulate 🚀”), and hits come back as victory laps such as “I told you #Ethereum was going to moon.” Bearish calls are rare.
Strongly bullish. On 1 October they wrote “#Bitcoin has found the bottom for this cycle 🔥”, and on 12 October “2022 bottom = 2026 bottom”. On Ether they expect a long rally toward $18,000 by 2028.
Twelve dated calls from Trader Tardigrade, all from their own X posts, each checked word for word against the post and charted against real price. The tally is 4 played out, 3 open, 5 went against.

𝕏 Post“Next stop: the upper trendline around $5,400.” — @TATrader_Alan on X↗ x.comOutcomes are our read of the stated claim against real price, not Tardigrade's own scoring. Every quote is verbatim from the post linked on its card. Each call is charted at that day's midnight CoinGecko mark, and all posts went out before 15:00 UTC. We grade on daily closes, so a short intraday wick does not count. Prices given for 13 October are a snapshot taken that day. The “$1,000 in” line on each card assumes buying on the day, even for calls that expected a dip first.
Tardigrade's posts on X are free. The account also sells a subscription and posts referral links. Here is what we found.
The profile's website link is an X creator subscription. In March and April they advertised real-time Ichimoku alerts for subscribers, mostly on Dogecoin, with lines such as “Subscription price increases soon. Lock in the current rate now!”
They post referral links: Cwallet with code “23wa117D” for a deposit bonus (14 April), and the KCEX exchange, with a futures-competition link on 24 September and “Trade with me on @KCEX_Official & save tons of fees!” on 9 October.
An April post says “DM for collabs 🤝”. A 22 September post tells projects they work with “no hidden shills, clear sponsorship labeling”.
A 7 October post told readers “Altseason is coming—and a risk-sized meme allocation could matter” and pointed them to a $MOO token launch. It carried no sponsorship label, and we could not tell whether it was paid. We found no statement of their own holdings.
