@Tradermayne
A price-action trader who reads Bitcoin in levels: support, resistance and breaks of market structure. From late July to early September his levels worked. On 19 August he wrote that Bitcoin “should trade into the mid $70ks” at $64,686; three days later it closed at $78,318. His calls since 21 September, made near the top of the move, are still open.
In short. Trader Mayne posts on X as @Tradermayne to about 567,000 followers. He co-founded Breakout, a crypto prop-trading firm that Kraken bought in 2025. On our sample of six dated posts from 24 July to 14 October — five on Bitcoin, one on Ethereum against Bitcoin — the record is 4 played out, 0 went against, 2 open. His July and August calls for a move above $70,000 and into the mid-$70,000s played out, as did his 1 September call for a market structure break. His 21 September call to keep buying dips and his 14 October “$80k” level are open.
Trader Mayne has been on X since April 2014 and has about 567,000 followers. His own site says he has been trading since 2013 and that he lost millions in the FTX collapse. In 2023 he co-founded Breakout, a prop-trading firm for crypto traders, and Kraken bought it in 2025; his X bio reads “@breakoutprop acq by @krakenfx | @orderbookshow”. A write-up by RockawayX, an investor in Breakout, gives his name as Dylan Loomer. He hosts livestreams on the OrderBook Show and posts free trading videos on YouTube.
His method is price action: support and resistance, ranges, liquidity sweeps and breaks of market structure on the weekly chart. Most of his Bitcoin posts are a chart with one or two lines naming a level. This page grades the posts that say where price should go. Posts with only a chart and the ticker are left out, because the chart, not the text, carries the call.
Two things to weigh against the record. First, he expected a later bottom. On 22 August he wrote: “I personally have been a 4 year cycle believer, meaning a Q4 bottom.” In a podcast on 13 August, as Benzinga reported, he leaned toward the low not being in yet. On 25 August he still wrote: “Once we close above $125k and make a yearly higher high, I’ll be convinced the bottom is in.” By 21 September he was telling followers to build out their allocation. Second, the level he named to buy on 24 July, “$59-$60k”, was never reached; Bitcoin turned higher before it got there.
X search returned nothing for this account, and his profile feed only reaches back to 27 July, so this sample covers late July to mid-October. We could not read his posts from March to July.

Levels, then patience. Trader Mayne names a level, says what should happen if price holds it, and waits for a break of weekly market structure before he calls a trend. In August that worked well: three posts from 24 July to 19 August named $70,000 and the mid-$70,000s as the next stop, and Bitcoin got there by 22 August. He is open about changing his mind. After a 20% weekly candle he dropped his Q4-bottom view and turned bullish.
Cautious until late August, bullish since. He expected a Q4 bottom, then turned bullish after Bitcoin's August breakout. On 14 October he wrote that he is “still overall bullish BTC”.
Six dated posts from @Tradermayne — five on Bitcoin, one on Ethereum against Bitcoin — each captured verbatim from X and charted against real price. The tally is 4 played out, 0 went against, 2 open. The 24 July, 27 July, 19 August and 1 September calls played out. The 21 September call to buy dips until the end of the year and the 14 October “$80k” level are open.
“I think around here, $80k is the first spot to pay attention too. Lose weekly demand, fail the breakout and we are likely looking into the low $70ks.”
Posted at $83,115, with a chart of what he called a likely inverse head and shoulders. He named $80,000 as the place to watch for a higher low and ended: “Either way I'm still overall bullish BTC and want to be a net buyer over the coming months.” Bitcoin has drifted to $81,408 (−2.1%) on 18 October and sits at $81,810 (−1.6%). Neither $80,000 nor the low $70,000s has been reached — open.
𝕏 Post“$80k is the first spot to pay attention too” — @Tradermayne on X↗ x.com“Flipping bullish at $22k last cycle was still very EARLY all things considered. You're focus should be to continue to build out your allocation on dips between now and the end of the year.”
The day's opening mark was $81,169, but the post came at 17:27 UTC, and the next mark, $86,597 on 22 September, is the highest in our price window. Since then Bitcoin has not closed higher. It fell to $81,408 on 18 October and sits at $81,810: +0.8% from the 21 September mark, −5.5% from the 22 September mark. He gave until the end of the year — open.
𝕏 Post“build out your allocation on dips” — @Tradermayne on X↗ x.com“While $82.8k remains the key market structure level to flip things bullish on the weekly and monthly. $76k can be viewed as a pre-emptive structure level, and we just closed through it.”
Posted at $78,553. He added that a close like this “is a good sign that a MS break is coming next.” Bitcoin first dipped to $75,590 (−3.8%) on 16 September, just under his $76,000 level, then closed above $82,800 on 22 September at $86,597 (+10.2%). He called the weekly break confirmed on 28 September. It sits at $81,810 (+4.1%). Played out.
𝕏 Post“$82.8k remains the key market structure level” — @Tradermayne on X↗ x.com“You've got a really nice bias level around $67.2k here. Hold above the range high and this should trade into the mid $70ks.”
The day's opening mark was $64,686; the post came at 18:11 UTC, after a sharp rise that day, and the next mark was $69,291. Bitcoin never closed below $67,200 again. It closed at $78,318 on 22 August: +21.1% from the 19 August mark, +13.0% from the 20 August mark. On 11 August, at $63,916, he had written that bulls wanted to hold “if we want a shot at $70k”; that came on 21 August. Played out.
𝕏 Post“this should trade into the mid $70ks” — @Tradermayne on X↗ x.com“Attempting to put in its first higher low in like 5 years.”
A post on the Ethereum-to-Bitcoin ratio. Ethereum was at $1,953 and Bitcoin at $65,344. The ratio never went back to its 7 June low, so the higher low held. Ethereum then outran Bitcoin to 22 September: $2,775 (+42.1%) against Bitcoin's $86,597 (+32.5%). Since then it has given that lead back: Ethereum sits at $2,403 (+23.1%), Bitcoin at $81,810 (+25.2%). The higher low held — played out.
𝕏 Post“first higher low in like 5 years” — @Tradermayne on X↗ x.com“Would consider longing $59-$60k. If we hold around here I'd expect a move above $70k+ where I'd be focused on looking for signs of weakness.”
Posted at $65,052. Bitcoin never reached his $59,000–$60,000 buy zone; its lowest mark after the post was $62,773 (−3.5%) on 2 August. It held and closed above $70,000 on 21 August at $73,021. It went on to $86,597 (+33.1%) on 22 September and sits at $81,810 (+25.8%). Played out.

Every quote is a verbatim X post, linked on its card and reproduced in full in the verified corpus. Prices are CoinGecko daily marks taken at 00:00 UTC, so a post is measured from the mark at the start of its day, and intraday highs and lows do not show. Several of these posts came late in the UTC day; where price had already moved a lot by then, the card also gives the next day's mark. Near-term marks can flip.
