@TheBTCTherapist
A pseudonymous X account that has been bullish on Bitcoin in every post we read. Buying when it said so paid: Bitcoin rose from $64,984 on 15 July to $86,597 on 22 September. The short deadlines did not: “$90,000 bitcoin by end of week” on 21 September, and “$100K by end of October” on 6 October, with Bitcoin at $82,701 ten days before that deadline.
In short. The Bitcoin Therapist posts on X as @TheBTCTherapist to about 264,000 followers. The person behind the account has never been named. On our sample of seven dated Bitcoin posts from 13 June to 6 October, the record is 1 played out, 3 went against, 3 open. The 15 July call for a big move up played out. The 13 June “Bottom is in” came before a lower low on 1 July, and the calls for $90,000 within a week and within a day went against. Calls for $100K, for $100K by the end of October and a 12-month buy call are open.
The Bitcoin Therapist has been on X since July 2021 and has about 264,000 followers and more than 41,000 posts. The account does not give a real name; the bio reads only “Follow the money”. In April 2024 The Coin Republic called it “an anonymous writer of a Bitcoin (BTC) Newsletter”; we found no newsletter that is live today.
The account posts several times a day: market memes, “JUST IN” headlines, quote-posts of prediction-market accounts and short calls. Every post we read was bullish on Bitcoin. Our rule: we chart posts on Bitcoin that name a level, a deadline or a clear direction, and we chart each theme once, at its earliest post in our sample. The account wrote “Bottom is in” on 13 June, 25 June, 20 July and 8 August; we chart 13 June. Posts that only ask a question or repeat a headline are left out.
Twice the account added “(will delete if wrong)” to a call: “bottom is in.” on 25 June and “$90,000 bitcoin by end of week.” on 21 September. Both missed, and both posts were still up when we captured them on 21 October.
Our sample is the 840 posts that X search returned for the account from 13 June to 20 October 2026. X search returned nothing for earlier months on 21 October, so posts from 26 March to 12 June are not covered. We did not read replies.

Always bullish, often on a deadline. The Bitcoin Therapist argues from sentiment (“Everyone is so bearish”), from institutions (BlackRock, JP Morgan, Fidelity) and from a power-law chart with a support line and a “fair value” far above price. The long view, that Bitcoin was cheap near $60,000, worked out over the summer. The short-dated targets — $90,000 within a week, $90,000 within a day, $100K by the end of October — have each been missed or are behind.
Bullish in every post we read. On 6 October the account called “$100K by end of October”, an all-time high by the end of the year and $200K in 2027. On 13 October it wrote “$100,000 feels closer than ever.”
Seven dated posts from @TheBTCTherapist, all on Bitcoin, each captured verbatim from X and charted against real price. The tally is 1 played out, 3 went against, 3 open. The 15 July call played out. The 13 June, 21 September and 2 October calls went against. The 19 July, 4 September and 6 October calls are open.

𝕏 Post“Bottom is in. Everyone can see it.” — @TheBTCTherapist on X↗ x.comOutcomes are our read of the stated level, deadline or direction against real price. Every quote is a verbatim X post, linked on its card and reproduced in full in the verified corpus. Prices are CoinGecko daily marks taken at 00:00 UTC, so a post is measured from the mark at the start of its day, and intraday highs and lows do not show. A “bottom is in” call counts as went against if Bitcoin later closed lower. Our sample starts on 13 June, so earlier calls are not graded. Near-term marks can flip.
The Bitcoin Therapist does not sell a course, a paid group or a newsletter that we could find. The account says it holds Bitcoin and Strategy (MSTR) shares.
On 17 July the account wrote: “I started buying MSTR at $45 in 2024 and have never sold my shares.” and “I am still accumulating btc, mstr and other treasuries companies.” On 6 October it wrote that its highest Bitcoin buy was “over $100,000”. A rising Bitcoin price is good for the account's own holdings.
47 of the 817 own posts in our sample quote posts from the prediction-market accounts @Kalshi and @Kalshi_Crypto. We found no disclosed paid tie to Kalshi.
