A Bitcoin swing trader who reads divergences and volume on the daily and weekly charts and streams most weeks. The big 2026 turn was right. On 24 April, at $78,275, Roman said Bitcoin would drop below 60k, and it did by late June. In early June the account turned bullish and began posting its own spot buys, and on 1 July it called a bounce to 70k that came in August. The misses: a March call for 50k “and likely a bit lower”, which never came, and a short-term bearish turn in late August that Roman later called wrong.

In short. Roman posts Bitcoin charts on X as @Roman_Trading and streams them live on X and YouTube. On our sample of seven in-window posts the record is 4 played out, 1 open, 2 went against. The wins are the drop below 60k, the slide to the lower 60s in June, the bounce to 70k and the move to 85-87k after a break of 82.5k. The misses are the 50k target from March and a short-term bearish call in late August. Since early June the account has posted a weekly Bitcoin spot buy, so the bullish calls are backed by the account's own money, as far as the screenshots show.

Background — what is documented, and what is not

The account joined X in April 2021 and goes by the display name Roman. The bio reads “Swing Trader $BTC / $ETH ~ FREE Discord” and carries a Bitget referral link. The avatar is a Roman-helmet logo, not a photo. We found no surname, location, employer or audited track record behind the name. The location field reads “Not Financial Advice”.

Cointelegraph has quoted the account in its weekly Bitcoin round-ups, for example on 6 April 2026, when it embedded the post “$BTC pumping on a Sunday and everyone celebrating… You guys will never learn.” as one of the traders who “remained skeptical”.

The X feed mixes daily and weekly Bitcoin charts (“$BTC 1D”, “$BTC 1W”), stream announcements, spot-buy screenshots and posts about stocks and the SpaceX IPO. Roman says the Bitcoin spot holding was sold “just under 100k” a little over a year before June 2026, writes about having switched into stocks, and has posted a weekly Bitcoin buy since early June 2026. On 21 September the post said the DCA was “finished” at an average of 72k. We walked the public feed back to 28 May without a gap. Earlier 2026 posts were reachable only by ID, so the March and April calls come from posts found through press coverage and an earlier research pass.

Trading style & philosophy

Divergences, volume and the four-year cycle. Roman reads bullish and bearish divergences on RSI and MACD, checks whether volume confirms a move, and draws reversal patterns such as inverse head-and-shoulders and double bottoms. On top sits a cycle clock: a 52-week bear market that, by Roman's count, ends around early October 2026. The method did well on the big turns in this sample, down into June and up from July. It did worse on the short-term bearish calls made against the trend, and the inverse head-and-shoulders drawn in July failed before an August double bottom worked.

Bearish “over a year”, by Roman's own account, until early June 2026. Bullish since 8 June, with a short-term bearish spell from late August to mid-September that Roman later called wrong. On 1 October the post looked for “our next uptrend to 90k”.

Outcomes are our read of the stated claim against real price, not the trader's own scoring. Every quote is a verbatim X post, linked on its card and reproduced in full in the verified corpus. We did not chart stream titles, spot-buy screenshots or restatements of a charted view. Bearish restatements on 30 March and 6 April are left out. So is the 10 September call (“Would love to see 67k”), which repeats the late-August view: the lowest daily mark after it was $75,590. Each post is measured from that day's midnight CoinGecko mark. The 1 July post went out at 21:48 UTC and the 25 August post at 20:44 UTC, so for those two cards we also give the next day's mark. Near-term marks can flip.

How they make money — and where the conflicts are

Roman's analysis is free on X, YouTube and Discord. Here is what the account sells or promotes.

Exchange sponsor and referral

The bio and every stream post carry a Bitget referral link (“15% off Trading Fees”), and streams until the end of August were “Sponsored by @bitget”. Referral links like this usually pay the referrer.

Prop-firm partner

Since 9 September 2026 Roman has been partnered with Breakout, a prop-trading firm, with a referral link for a discount on evaluations and a giveaway of a free account. Streams since mid-September are sponsored by Breakout.

AI trading algorithm

On 27 March 2026 Roman wrote of “assisting the development of an AI trading algorithm” and invited people to invest (“If interested in investing see below/DM me”). Later posts offer “use this system FOR FREE” by DM and claim it is up about 50% for the year. We could not check those returns, and we did not find the system's name, terms or operator.

Who is Roman Trading?+

A Bitcoin swing trader on X (@Roman_Trading, display name Roman) with about 68,000 followers, on the platform since 2021. The account streams Bitcoin analysis on X and YouTube and is quoted in Cointelegraph's weekly round-ups. We found no surname or employer.

Is Roman Trading's analysis accurate?+

On our sample of seven dated posts from 22 March to 1 October 2026: four played out, one is open, two went against. The big turns did well, down into June and up from July. The March 50k target and a short-term bearish call in late August did not.

Does Roman Trading sell signals?+

No paid signal group that we found. The account earns from Bitget and Breakout referral links and stream sponsorships, and offers an AI trading system by DM whose returns we could not check.

What is a bullish divergence?+

When price makes a lower low but an indicator such as RSI makes a higher low. Traders like Roman read it as selling pressure fading. It can last for weeks before price turns, and it does not always lead to a turn.

What is Roman Trading's net worth?+

Not publicly known, and no credible figure exists. Ignore any specific number you see attached to the name.
