Moustache is an anonymous chart analyst who posts Bitcoin, Ether and altcoin charts to about 165,000 followers on X as @el_crypto_prof. They were bullish all year. In spring they said the Bitcoin bottom was already in, and Bitcoin then fell to $58,566 on 1 July. From June on, the same calls lined up with the turn: they said Ether was “almost there” 19 days before its lowest close, and posted “Bottom vibes.” a week before Bitcoin's.
In short. Moustache posts as @el_crypto_prof. On our sample of twelve in-window calls the record is 6 played out, 3 open, 3 went against. They called the bottom too early in March, April and May, and Bitcoin fell another 15-24% after each of those calls. Their late-April call for $80,000 came good within eight days. Their June and July bottom calls for Bitcoin and Ether, and their summer Ether calls, played out. Their September calls for a bigger rally are still open.
The @el_crypto_prof account was opened in December 2017. The display name is Moustache, and the bio says the person has been in Bitcoin and crypto since 2015, works as a trader and analyst, and that the posts are not financial advice. The profile shows an EU flag and no city or country. We found no interview or public record that names the person behind it, so this page uses they/them.
Their method is long-cycle indicators on weekly and monthly charts: the RSI, MACD crossovers, the CM Guppy moving-average ribbon, the Gaussian Channel, the 200-week EMA and long trend lines, often set beside past cycles and a gold-versus-Bitcoin comparison. Many posts are about altcoins and “altseason”; we did not chart those.
We read 540 posts from their Telegram channel, which mirrors their X posts, from 4 March to 9 October 2026, and 437 posts from their X profile feed, which reached back to 20 April. They often repost the same chart weeks later, so we charted the first copy of each call. NewsBTC has quoted their Bitcoin charts.

Long-cycle indicators, always bullish. Moustache posts short notes over weekly and monthly charts and ends many with “Higher.” They called a bottom again and again, from “I think Bitcoin has already hit the bottom.” in March to “Bottom vibes.” in June. When the turn came they took credit: “I told you so two months ago.”
Bullish. On 1 October they wrote “It looks like the fun is just getting started.” On 8 October they said Ether had reached its weekly EMA200, “which has often marked a local bottom in the past.” We found no bearish Bitcoin call from them in the window.
Twelve dated calls from Moustache, all from their own X posts, each checked word for word against the post and charted against real price. The tally is 6 played out, 3 open, 3 went against.

𝕏 Post“I think Bitcoin has already hit the bottom.” — @el_crypto_prof on X↗ x.comOutcomes are our read of the stated claim against real price, not Moustache's own scoring. Every quote is verbatim from the post linked on its card. Each call is charted at that day's midnight CoinGecko mark; the posts went out between 07:49 and 19:39 UTC, and the two late Ether posts give the next day's mark too. Only one call names a price level, so we graded the direction and the bottom they described. The “$1,000 in” line on each card assumes buying on the day.
Moustache's X posts and Telegram channel are free. Here is what we found.
Their X bio links only to their free Telegram channel, t.me/MoustacheTA, which had about 7,780 subscribers on 9 October and reposts their X charts. In the 540 Telegram posts we read we found no paid group, newsletter, course or exchange referral link.
Many posts are bullish charts on single altcoins, such as $NEAR, $QNT, $AAVE and $ONDO, in a “Bullish Altcoins” series. We found no paid-promotion labels on them, and no statement of what they hold.
