@Kev_Capital_TA
A cycle-roadmap chartist who called the 2026 Bitcoin bear market as a counter-trend story from the start, then read the turn in July. Six dated calls: four played out, one is still open, one went against. The miss is his own downside target: in late July he still expected Bitcoin to reach $56,000–$44,000. It never closed below $62,773.
In short. Kevin, who publishes as Kev Capital TA, posts to about 25,000 followers on X (on the platform since December 2015) and runs a YouTube channel of about 6,000 subscribers. His bio lists a B.S. in Finance and calls him a technical and fundamental analyst. His framework is a multi-phase Bitcoin roadmap built on the two-day 200 EMA/SMA, Fibonacci levels and money-flow indicators. In our window he was right that Ethereum's May rally was a counter-trend bounce, right that the bears were weakening in mid-July, and right on the September breakout. He was wrong about how deep the bottom would go.
Kev Capital TA does not publish a surname. The X profile is named “Kevin”, and the bio reads “B.S. Finance | Technical & Fundamental Analyst. Mountaineering & Helping Traders Spot Reversals, Key Levels & Trade Setups”. Benzinga, which has written up several of his podcasts, calls him “crypto analyst Kevin” and “Kevin Capital”. We did not find an independent record of the degree or of any professional employment, and nothing on this page relies on either.
The X account @Kev_Capital_TA opened in December 2015 and has about 25,400 followers and more than 26,000 posts (28 Sep 2026). It carries a paid blue check (type “individual”), not an organisation badge. The account links to the YouTube channel @Kev_Capital_TA, which has about 5,970 subscribers and 241 videos. The channel's own description links back to the same Patreon, and that is how we matched the two.
The channel covers more than crypto. In our window it has as many videos on the S&P 500, Nvidia, SoFi, ServiceNow and silver as on Bitcoin. This page grades only Bitcoin and Ethereum calls.
A note on sources. Two calls come from his own X posts, fetched in full. Three come from articles quoting his podcasts (NewsBTC and Benzinga). One is a YouTube video title, checked against YouTube's oEmbed record. This server cannot pull YouTube transcripts, so where only a title is available, only the title is graded.

Roadmap first, levels second. Kevin sets out a multi-phase Bitcoin roadmap and then tracks price against it, video by video. The checkpoints are moving averages: the two-day 200 EMA/SMA (“the last hurdle”), the 50-week SMA and the 4H 200. He adds Fibonacci golden pockets, whale money flow and stablecoin dominance. He tells followers to dollar-cost average rather than wait for a perfect entry, and he followed that advice himself: in July he was buying Bitcoin while still forecasting a lower low. The weakness is the price target. His bottom zone of $44,000–$56,000 was wrong, even though his timing window of July to October was right.
Bearish-to-cautious through the spring, calling every rally counter-trend. Turned constructive in early July while still expecting one more low. Fully bullish since mid-September, with a “wave-2” pullback expected after a push into $93.5K–$100K.
Six dated calls charted against real CoinGecko price. Two are his own X posts, fetched in full. Three are from podcasts, quoted word for word by NewsBTC and Benzinga. One is the title of one of his YouTube videos. We read his X posts and videos back to the start of our price window, and every upload since, and charted the calls that name a Bitcoin or Ethereum direction or level. Titles that ask a question or repeat a call we already charted are listed in the library below.
“If bitcoin:native can hold $83K–$77K while short-term indicators reset, I think a push into $93.5K–$100K becomes very likely before a more durable 10%–20% wave-2 correction that sets the macro higher low.”
Posted with Bitcoin at $84,378. Since then it has closed no higher than $84,449 (+0.1%) and is $83,423 today (−1.1%), inside his $83K–$77K hold zone. $93,500 is 10.8% above the call. The post is three days old. Graded still open.
𝕏 Post“A push into $93.5K–$100K becomes very likely” — @Kev_Capital_TA on X, 25 Sep 2026↗ x.com“Break and hold $78K–$83.7K with escape velocity. Daily trend is already flipped.”
Bitcoin was $76,819, just under the two-day 200 EMA/SMA band he called “the last hurdle”. The same post said: “Until year-end: buy the dips and hold when they show up.” The dip was small, to $75,590 on 16 Sep (−1.6%). Bitcoin then closed above the top of the band on 22 Sep, at $86,597 (+12.7%). It is $83,423 today, +8.6% above the call and just under the top of the band. Graded played out.
𝕏 Post“This is the last hurdle” — @Kev_Capital_TA on X, 14 Sep 2026↗ x.com“I still believe that we should go down to the $56,000-to-$44,000 range.”
Bitcoin was $65,344, and $56,000 was 14.3% below. The lowest close after the call was $62,773 on 2 Aug (−3.9%). Bitcoin then rose to $86,597 on 22 Sep (+32.5%) and is $83,423 today, +27.7% above the call. Graded went against. His advice in the same podcast held up better than his target: “I’m still buying Bitcoin at these levels,” he said, and he warned that waiting for the low “is dangerous”.

Ethereum was $1,774, and it never closed lower. It climbed to $2,775 on 22 Sep (+56.4%) and is $2,686 today, +51.4% above the call. The best-timed call on this page. Graded played out.
“Ethereum Is Getting More Bullish Every Week” — Kev Capital TA (YouTube, 14 Jul 2026)▶ Watch the call · youtu.be/exmKn9fvHkE“the Bitcoin bears are finally getting weaker”
Bitcoin was $63,747, twelve days after its $58,566 low of 1 Jul. It closed at $62,279 the next day (−2.3%) and not lower after that. It reached $86,597 on 22 Sep (+35.8%) and is $83,423 today, +30.9% above the call. Graded played out. In the same podcast he said Bitcoin could still revisit $44,000–$56,000, the view he repeated on 27 Jul.
Source“Bitcoin Bears Are Getting Weaker Despite Drop to $62,000” — Kevin on his podcast, via Benzinga, 13 Jul 2026↗ benzinga.com“Until that happens, it’s still a higher counter-trend rally within a higher time frame downtrend.”
With Ethereum at $2,351, he said the rally from about $1,700 was a counter-trend bounce until ETH reclaimed $2,800 and retested it. It never did. Ethereum peaked at $2,370 on 11 May and fell to $1,566 on 26 Jun (−33.4%). No close above $2,800 since; the high is $2,775 on 22 Sep (+18.0%). Ethereum is $2,686 today, +14.3% above the call. Graded played out.
Source“Ethereum To $10,000? Analyst Says ETH Must Clear This Level First” — Kevin's 7 May market update, via NewsBTC↗ newsbtc.comOutcomes are our read of each call, measured against real CoinGecko price — not Kevin's own scoring. The “$1,000 in” line under each chart is a buy-and-hold figure from the day of the call. Two calls look for lower prices: the 7 May Ethereum call and the 27 July $56K–$44K target. For those two, a rising number means the market went against the call.

These dated and verified YouTube titles are not charted, because they ask a question, repeat a call we already charted, or are too recent. Here is what the price did anyway:
THE BITCOIN BULL MARKET IS HERE ‼️THIS IS WHERE BITCOIN GOES NEXT 👀A regime call a week old. Bitcoin was $81,169 and is $83,423 today (+2.8%). The 25 September target post, which is charted, covers the same view.21 Sep 2026

85K OR 48K FIRST FOR BITCOIN?A question, so not graded. Bitcoin was $70,029. It reached neither: the low was $58,566 on 1 July and $85K was first passed on 22 September.12 Mar 2026Kev Capital TA is the handle of an analyst who posts as “Kevin” on X (@Kev_Capital_TA, about 25,000 followers, on X since December 2015) and runs a YouTube channel of about 6,000 subscribers. Six dated Bitcoin and Ethereum calls inside our price window. Four played out: Ethereum's May rally as counter-trend (ETH then fell 33.4%), the bears weakening in mid-July (Bitcoin +35.8% at best), a bullish Ethereum call at $1,774 (+56.4% at best), and the September break of his $78K–$83.7K hurdle. One went against him: his 27 July target of $56,000–$44,000, which never came. One, a $93.5K–$100K target from 25 September, is still open.
On this sample his read of trend direction was good and his bottom price target was not. He also told followers to buy gradually rather than wait for his target, which is the part that worked. He sells a Patreon and promotes an exchange referral link. Treat any single call as a dated opinion, not a signal.

Mainly the two-day 200 EMA and SMA, the 50-week SMA, Fibonacci golden pockets, whale money flow, stablecoin dominance and liquidity heatmaps, organised into a multi-phase Bitcoin cycle roadmap.
