@JesseOlson
Jesse Olson is a swing trader with about 83,000 followers on X. He posts Bitcoin and Ethereum chart signals almost every day, built on his own indicators (“trending dots”, buy and sell signals, RSI signals) and on liquidation clusters. He sells those indicators and a Discord through his company, Market Sniper. On our sample his September calls for lower prices did not come, while his October Ethereum pullback call did.
In short. Jesse posts as @JesseOlson. On our sample of 6 calls (4 Bitcoin, 2 Ethereum) from 2 August to 7 October 2026 the record is 1 played out, 2 open, 3 went against. His deep 2026 bottom projection and his mid-September calls for lower prices were wrong. His 7 October Ethereum pullback call played out.
Jesse Olson has posted on X as @JesseOlson since April 2009. His profile says he is “Obsessed with charts, swing trading, and being a dad” and calls him “Chief Sniper” at Market Sniper, a trading service run by Market Sniper Pro LLC. He does not state where he lives, and we did not find it in a reliable source.
His posts read signals off his own indicators on several time frames, from the hourly to the monthly chart, and add liquidation clusters and fractals of past cycles, such as a “2023 Bull Fractal”. He covers stocks and altcoins as well as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Crypto news sites such as CaptainAltcoin and cryptonews.net often write up his charts.
He says he posted a Bitcoin bear market road map on 10 October 2025 and that 4 of its 5 targets were hit. That road map is older than our price window, so we did not grade it. In June, news sites reported him as saying Bitcoin could fall to $23,980; his post said that price “was not on my 2026 bingo card” and would only come if stocks crashed 50% or more. We did not chart that post. Our sample covers his posts from 16 September to 12 October 2026, the part of his feed we could read, plus one 2 August post found through news coverage.

Indicator signals on many time frames. Jesse waits for his weekly and daily signals to agree, then trades swings. He names levels from his “trending dots”, a “blue line” and clusters of leveraged positions that he expects price to wipe out. Many posts end with a question, such as “Possible?” or “Do they survive?”, so a call often reads as a scenario rather than a firm forecast.
Bullish on the weekly chart, bearish on the daily. On 11 October he wrote that there are “Several billion reasons why price will go below $75,000”, and on 7 October that he expects a drop below $75,000 before a move to $100,000+.
Six dated calls from Jesse Olson, all from his own X posts, each checked word for word against the post and charted against real price. The tally is 1 played out, 2 open, 3 went against.
“Scenario: Price drops below $75,000, then pumps to $100,000+.”
Charted at $85,540. His “2023 Bull Fractal” scenario needs a drop under $75,000 first. Bitcoin's lowest close since was $81,686 (−4.5%) on 9 October, and it is at $83,593 (−2.3%). Neither part has come yet. Open.
𝕏 Post“Price drops below $75,000, then pumps to $100,000+.” — @JesseOlson on X↗ x.com“Long liquidation clusters align with blue line at $2,528. Retracement in progress.”
Charted at $2,697, from a post at 04:38 UTC on pending daily sell signals. Ethereum fell to $2,573 (−4.6%) the next day and closed at $2,473 (−8.3%) on 9 October, below his $2,528 level. It is at $2,542 (−5.8%). Played out.
𝕏 Post“Retracement in progress.” — @JesseOlson on X↗ x.com“Eventually the trending dots will be retested but it could be another 11+ weeks of up only.”
Charted at $81,169, the midnight mark. The post went out at 20:08 UTC, late on a day when Bitcoin jumped; the next mark was $86,597 (+6.7%), so we grade from there. That was the highest close since. Bitcoin then fell to $81,686 (−5.7% from $86,597) on 9 October and is at $83,593 (−3.5% from $86,597, +3.0% from the midnight mark). Three weeks in, no new high. Open.
𝕏 Post“It could be another 11+ weeks of up only.” — @JesseOlson on X↗ x.com“If price drops to $2,100, then $3.3B long liquidations will get wiped. This aligns with target 3 of 4.”
Charted at $2,397, on a pending daily sell signal. That was Ethereum's lowest close since; it never got near $2,100. It rose to $2,775 (+15.8%) on 22 September and is at $2,542 (+6.0%). Went against.
𝕏 Post“If price drops to $2,100…” — @JesseOlson on X↗ x.com“We could be days away from sub $70,000 and weeks away from $90,000.”
Charted at $75,590, the day after a sell signal; he ended the post with “Possible?”. That was Bitcoin's lowest close since, so the drop under $70,000 never came. It rose to $86,597 (+14.6%) on 22 September, short of $90,000, and is at $83,593 (+10.6%). Went against.
𝕏 Post“We could be days away from sub $70,000” — @JesseOlson on X↗ x.com“2026 bottom $40K-$45K”
Charted at $62,773, from his “Tenjo” cycle model, which also projects a 2029 top of $215K–$230K. That was Bitcoin's lowest close since. It rose to $86,597 (+38.0%) on 22 September and is at $83,593 (+33.2%). On 16 September he wrote “I don't think these leverage longs at $50,000 get taken out”. Went against.
𝕏 Post“2026 bottom $40K-$45K” — @JesseOlson on X↗ x.comOutcomes are our read of the stated claim against real price, not Jesse's own scoring. Every quote is verbatim from the post linked on its card. Each call is charted at that day's midnight CoinGecko mark. His 21 September post went out at 20:08 UTC, late on a day when Bitcoin jumped, so its card grades it from the next mark. We grade on daily closes, so a short intraday wick does not count. Our sample is limited to the posts we could read: 16 September to 12 October, plus one from 2 August. The “$1,000 in” line on each card assumes buying on the day, even for bearish calls.
Jesse sells a trading service. His X posts are free, and some point readers to his Discord. Here is what we found.
His site, marketsniper.pro, run by Market Sniper Pro LLC, sells two plans: “Sniper Core” at $9.90 a month (a private Discord, whale alerts and “Every chart Jesse posts”) and “Sniper Elite” at $59 a month (alerts, charting, 62 indicators, a screener, a trading journal and TradingView indicators).
The site offers 70+ coaching videos on his strategy and shows member testimonials. It says the testimonials “are not representative of typical outcomes”.
Market Sniper pays affiliates “recurring commission on every member you bring in”.
His public posts on X promote the same signals the paid plans sell, for example “I'll record a short video in the Discord today.” on 7 October. Bold calls are also marketing for the service.
