The face of Crypto Capital Venture — a near-daily crypto YouTube channel and X feed built on one idea: the business cycle (PMI) drives crypto more than people think. Gambardello's own site says “no price predictions”, but the posts name levels all the time — which makes them checkable.

In short. Dan Gambardello runs Crypto Capital Venture: a YouTube channel with 403K subscribers, an X account with about 318K followers, and a paid analytics platform, CCV Intelligence. The framework is macro-first — PMI and the business cycle, global liquidity, and a handful of moving averages (20-week, 50-week, 200-day). For years the channel was best known for Cardano; in June 2026 Gambardello said they had diversified into Sui and other altcoins. On this page: seven dated Bitcoin and Ethereum calls from the summer of 2026. The August reads were good; a May “breaking out NOW” video came just before a 26.6% fall.

Background — from Cardano's loudest bull to a macro-cycle channel

Gambardello has run Crypto Capital Venture for about eight years, by the site's own count. It describes itself as “the research, intelligence, and talent platform built by Dan Gambardello” with three arms: the free YouTube and X media, a paid analytics platform (CCV Intelligence), and a retained executive-search business for crypto, fintech and AI start-ups. The X bio links to the paid platform; the site says CCV “is built, run, and shipped by one person.”

The channel made its name as one of the most bullish voices on Cardano (ADA). As ADA fell below $0.16 in June 2026, Gambardello wrote on X that they had “reallocated and diversified into altcoins like SUI” while still holding ADA, and asked followers whether they were “happy with the state of cardano governance, leadership, and branding.” The coverage that followed (CoinCentral, 5 June 2026) is linked below. Cardano itself is not in this page's price data, so no ADA calls are graded here.

A note on the house line: the CCV site describes the channel as “No hype. No price predictions. Just the levels that matter.” The X posts charted below do name prices — $75K, $55K, $100K, $2,000 — so we treat them as calls and grade them. Gambardello has not publicly stated pronouns, so this page uses they/them.

Trading style & philosophy

Macro-first, cycle-driven. Gambardello reads crypto through the business cycle — the PMI turning up is the signal the channel waited years for — and then times it with a small set of moving averages: the 20-week and 50-week on Bitcoin, the 200-day on Ethereum, plus on-chain gauges such as long-term-holder MVRV. Posts usually give both branches of a setup (“targets $75K…but if it fails, $55K”), which makes the good calls look precise and the misses look hedged. The weak spot on this page is timing: the loudest “breaking out NOW” title came right before the summer low.

Bullish on the cycle. Since August the posts say Bitcoin and Ethereum are leaving a bear market, while still calling dips to $70K (BTC) and $2,000 (ETH) “normal”.

Track record — their calls, charted

Seven dated calls from Gambardello's own posts — five on X, two YouTube uploads — charted against real CoinGecko price. The X posts are quoted as published and were re-fetched live. For the YouTube uploads, the player and descriptions are login-gated for this server, so only the title can be verified word for word, and that is what is graded. Most titles on the channel name no level; we charted the two that state a clear direction for Bitcoin or Ethereum.

With ETH at $2,515, after almost five weeks of resistance at the 200 and 50 moving averages, Gambardello called a drop to $2,000 normal ahead of the Fed decision. It has not come: the lowest close since is $2,397 (−4.7%) the next day, then ETH broke out to $2,775 (+10.4%) on 22 Sep. It is $2,693 now (+7.1%). Two weeks old, so open — but so far price went the other way.

After Bitcoin was rejected near $80K, Gambardello said it was “not a bull trap” and that a dip to the 20-week average at $70K would be normal. Price was $78,283. The dip stopped at $75,590 (−3.4%) on 16 Sep; BTC then ran to $86,597 (+10.6%) on 22 Sep and is $83,723 now (+6.9%). The “ignore the bear talk” part held; the $70K level never came. Open.

A conditional call with BTC at $77,081. The first half happened: Bitcoin closed above $80K on 28 Aug ($80,268) and went on to $86,597 (+12.3%) on 22 Sep. The $100K target has not been reached; BTC is $83,723 now (+8.6%). Open.

Bullish on the weekly chart but warning the daily was overbought, Gambardello marked $2,500–$2,600 as the ceiling. ETH was $2,252. It reached $2,515 two days later and then closed between $2,391 and $2,525 for four weeks — never above $2,600 until 19 Sep ($2,612). It peaked at $2,775 (+23.2%) on 22 Sep and is $2,693 now (+19.6%). The resistance zone was exact. Played out.

With BTC at $64,263 and long-term-holder MVRV in its bottoming zone, Gambardello gave an inverse head-and-shoulders target of $75K, with $55K if it failed. The pattern worked: the lowest close after was $62,844 (−2.2%) on 17 Aug, and BTC closed at $78,318 on 22 Aug, through the target. It peaked at $86,597 (+34.8%) and is $83,723 now (+30.3%). $55K never came. Played out.

Outcomes are our read of what each post said, measured against real CoinGecko price — not Gambardello's own scoring. The “$1,000 in” line under each chart is a buy-and-hold figure from the day of the call. The two September calls describe dips as “normal” rather than promising them; they are graded open because the dip has not come yet and both are under three weeks old.
