@IamCryptoWolf
A chart analyst who is a long-term bull on Ethereum. On 23 August, at $77,081, Wolf wrote that Bitcoin and Ethereum “have already bottomed”; neither has come close to its summer low since, and Bitcoin closed at $86,597 on 22 September. The spring calls failed: the Ethereum base case of the 3200s and a Bitcoin walk “up to 90ks” never came.
In short. Crypto Wolf posts on X as @IamCryptoWolf to about 110,000 followers, mostly about Ethereum and Bitcoin. On our sample of seven dated posts from 3 April to 8 October — four on Ethereum, three on Bitcoin — the record is 3 played out, 2 went against, 2 open. The 29 April Bitcoin bias, the 23 August bottom call and the 2 September Ethereum support call played out. The April Ethereum base case of the 3200s and the 6 May Bitcoin call for the 90ks went against. The 19 September call for Ethereum back to its all-time high and the 8 October Ethereum buy are open.
Crypto Wolf has been on X since August 2017 and has about 110,000 followers. The display name is “Wolf”, and the bio reads only “Engineer. Analyst.” No full name, location or employer is published, and we found no outside profile of the account. On 3 April Wolf wrote: “I’m a long-term bull on crypto, especially $ETH and $BTC, so most of my analysis will focus there.”
The method is chart work on high time frames: the 3-day RSI against a long trendline, multi-year triangles, and fractals that compare Ethereum or Bitcoin with other assets, such as Ethereum against the Russell 2000 or Netflix and Bitcoin against Apple. This page grades posts whose text names a level or direction for Bitcoin or Ethereum. Fractal posts with no level are left out.
Wolf often mocks better-known analysts and the “gurus” who called for lower lows, and on 21 September wrote about analysts “selling $1500 subscriptions”. Wolf also writes about being wrong: “We all get calls wrong, me included unfortunately.” The account posts in bursts: between 2 June and 11 July it posted mostly emoji, replies and charts with a line or two of text.
The April base case was restated more than once: on 6 April a chart drew the path to the “3,200–3,300 zone”, on 14 April Wolf wrote “3200s still in play”, and on 4 May “3200s is still my base case”. They are graded as one call, from the first post. The sample is the 854 own posts our harvest returned, all but 13 of them from the profile feed; X search returned only 13.

Patient Ethereum bull. Wolf reads the 3-day RSI and multi-year chart patterns, posts a base case, and then waits. When the call works it is often early and against the crowd, like the August bottom call. When it fails, the base case tends to be restated rather than dropped: the 3200s target for Ethereum was repeated for a month while price went the other way.
Bullish on Ethereum and Bitcoin since late August. On 8 October Wolf called a sub-$2,500 Ethereum price a good spot to buy, and on 21 October wrote that Ethereum was holding support.
Seven dated posts from @IamCryptoWolf — four on Ethereum, three on Bitcoin — each captured verbatim from X and charted against real price. The tally is 3 played out, 2 went against, 2 open. The 29 April, 23 August and 2 September calls played out. The 3 April and 6 May calls went against. The 19 September and 8 October calls are open.
“This looks like a good spot to start buying $ETH again. Sub $2500, I like the risk/reward here.”
Posted at 17:41 UTC on 8 October, a day Ethereum fell; the 8 October mark was $2,573, so the figures below run from the next mark, $2,473 on 9 October. Wolf expected “a few more shakeouts over the coming weeks”. The lowest mark since was $2,400 (−2.9%) on 18 October. It sits at $2,445 (−1.1%). On 21 October Wolf wrote that Ethereum “is holding support nicely”. Open.

Posted at $2,612, about half of the high Wolf's own April chart marked at $4,867. Ethereum rose to $2,775 (+6.3%) on 22 September, its highest mark of the window, then slid to $2,400 (−8.1%) on 18 October. It sits at $2,445 (−6.4%). The post gives no deadline, so the call is open, but price is below the post.
𝕏 Post“Next destination: back to ATHs.” — @IamCryptoWolf on X↗ x.com“Now the $ 2300s are the first support and could very well hold. If they don’t, I’ll be looking to go hard around $ 2150s that’s the next major support on my chart.”
Posted at $2,418. The lowest mark after the post came the next day, $2,391 (−1.1%) on 3 September, inside the 2300s, and Ethereum never got near $2,150. It rose to $2,775 (+14.8%) on 22 September. The 2300s have held since: the lowest mark after the top was $2,400 (−0.7%) on 18 October. It sits at $2,445 (+1.1%). Played out.

Posted at $77,081, after Bitcoin had run up from $58,566 on 1 July. The deepest pullback since was $75,590 (−1.9%) on 16 September, and Bitcoin closed at $86,597 (+12.3%) on 22 September. It sits at $82,701 (+7.3%). Ethereum, at $2,423 that day, has not closed below $2,391 (−1.3%) since and peaked at $2,775 (+14.5%). Played out.
𝕏 Post“$BTC and $ETH have already bottomed.” — @IamCryptoWolf on X↗ x.com“Walking up to 90ks.”
Posted at $80,914, with a chart that drew Bitcoin rising to about $94,000–97,000. Bitcoin peaked five days later at $82,018 (+1.4%) on 11 May and then fell to $58,566 (−27.6%) on 1 July. Its highest mark of the window, $86,597 (+7.0%) on 22 September, is still short of $90,000. It sits at $82,701 (+2.2%). Went against.
𝕏 Post“Walking up to 90ks.” — @IamCryptoWolf on X↗ x.com“$BTC consolidating above $74K is exactly what bulls want to see. Lose that level, and bears start taking control again. Probably more chop over the next few days before it resolves one way or the other. My bias is up.”
Posted at $76,332. The chop resolved up: Bitcoin closed at $82,018 (+7.4%) on 11 May. The warning was right too. Bitcoin first closed below $74,000 on 29 May at $73,652 (−3.5%), and the bears took over: it fell to $58,566 (−23.3%) on 1 July. It sits at $82,701 (+8.3%). Played out, with the move up lasting about two weeks.
𝕏 Post“$BTC consolidating above $74K is exactly what bulls want to see” — @IamCryptoWolf on X↗ x.com“Consensus is calling for $ETH to 1200s, but the 3D RSI tells a different story. Every touch of the lower trendline has led to strong bounces. I’m looking at 3200s as a base case. Give it time, and don’t be surprised by shakeouts toward 2000s designed to trap you.”
Posted at $2,052. Ethereum rose to $2,421 (+18.0%) on 18 April, and Wolf kept the target through 4 May. The shakeout went much deeper than the 2000s: Ethereum closed below $2,000 on 3 June and fell to $1,566 (−23.7%) on 26 June. The consensus 1200s did not come either. Its highest mark since is $2,775 (+35.2%) on 22 September, far below $3,200. It sits at $2,445 (+19.1%). Went against.

Every quote is a verbatim X post, linked on its card and reproduced in full in the verified corpus. Prices are CoinGecko daily marks taken at 00:00 UTC, so a post is measured from the mark at the start of its day, and intraday highs and lows do not show. Where a post came late in the UTC day after a big move, the card also gives the next day's mark. Near-term marks can flip.
