Chart trader who posts short updates on Bitcoin, Ether and altcoins all day. Most posts name a level to reach this weekend or tonight. In our sample the bearish Bitcoin calls of 22 and 30 October worked, but most upside targets did not trade: $84,300 and $82,000 on Bitcoin, $2,570 and $2,520 on Ether, and $109 on Solana.

In short. Crypto Tony is a crypto chart trader on X, @CryptoTony__, with about 569,000 followers. On our sample of ten dated calls, one from April and nine from October and November 2026, the record is 3 played out, 1 open, 6 went against. The calls are short-term, often for the same weekend. The ones that worked were bearish Bitcoin calls in late October and an April call for Bitcoin to reach the highs above it. The misses were upside targets that price did not reach.

Background — what is documented, and what is not

Crypto Tony does not publish a full name. The X account has been open since August 2017, gives Dubai as its location, and its bio reads “Crypto .. 99% will lose money invested. Educational Content only. Not financial advice.” The posts sign off as Tony, so this page uses that name. We found no public track record kept by Tony.

How the sample was built: the X profile feed returned 612 of Tony's own posts from 16 October to 8 November 2026, about 25 a day. Older posts were not reachable through the feed, and almost no news site quotes Tony with a date, so the only earlier call here is an 18 April post that turned up through search. Many of the posts carry a chart. We grade the words of the post, not the drawing.

Calls not charted on their own card: on 21 October Tony gave a minimum target of 84,200 and a maximum of 90,000 for Bitcoin. The next morning Tony wrote “We hit our first target yesterday”. Our daily marks peaked at $84,082 on 22 October, and we have no intraday data, so we cannot confirm the hit or the miss. The 90,000 target never traded. On 23 October Tony repeated the bearish view of the day before, and on 30 October wrote “Never fade Tony” after Bitcoin made a new low. On Near, Tony looked for at least 4.80 on 1 November (Near peaked at $4.43 that day) and for a test of 3.80 on 2 November (Near fell to $3.66 on 6 November).

Tony reminds readers that a chart is only an idea: on 7 November the account wrote “A reminder that being a trader does not mean we know exactly what will happen”.

Trading style & philosophy

Levels, liquidity and USDT dominance. Tony marks support and resistance levels, reads liquidation heatmaps for clusters of liquidity above or below price, and uses the USDT dominance chart as the main guide to where Bitcoin goes next. Posts follow one format, “$BTC - Update”, and usually name a level, a direction and a time frame of hours to days. Tony trades both ways and changes bias often.

Two-way and short-term. In our sample Tony was long Bitcoin around 20 and 21 October, bearish from 22 October, short from 1 November, and looking for a move up again from 4 November. On 23 October Tony wrote that the market may consolidate for a few months before the next big leg up.

Outcomes are our read of the stated claim against real price, not Tony's own scoring. Selection: in the feed sample from 16 October to 8 November we chart every post that names a price target for Bitcoin, Ether or Solana, except the 21 October Bitcoin target, which our daily data cannot settle (see background). We also chart the first post of each change in Tony's Bitcoin direction that names no level (18 October, 22 October, 30 October). Support levels and if-then triggers are not charted. The April call is the only earlier post we could verify. Our price data is daily, so the price for each call is the daily mark for the post's date, and moves within a day are not seen. Most calls are for the same weekend or the next few days. The $1,000 line on each card assumes buying, so for a bearish call it shows the loss a buyer would have had.
