Crypto Ed is a Dutch Elliott Wave trader who posts Bitcoin and Ether charts to about 174,000 followers on X and runs a paid trading group. He called the April rally to $80,000 and the June drop. He also said the bottom was in on 20 April, ten weeks before Bitcoin's lowest close of the window. In August he expected a final leg lower toward a box between about 40k and 52k, and Bitcoin rose instead.
In short. Crypto Ed posts as @Crypto_Ed_NL. On our sample of ten in-window calls the record is 4 played out, 3 open or mixed, 3 went against. His shorter-term targets often landed, such as $80,000 in April, the June drop and Ether's May and October pullbacks. His bigger turning-point calls missed: the April bottom call and the August call for a final leg lower. His $170,000 target and his late-September 90k call are open.
Crypto Ed's X profile, opened in August 2017, says: “Founder of training & trading group https://www.crypto-ta.nl/ No hype, no BS.” He signs his site's quotes as “Crypto Ed”, and the site calls the daily videos “Ed his Bitcoin updates”. He does not give a full name. His posts are often in Dutch. On 27 April he wrote to his Dutch followers from Spain, and on 6 October he wrote that he emigrated more than five years ago.
His method is Elliott Wave: he counts legs, marks a red box where he expects a reversal and a green box as a target. He writes that a green box “is at first a target and a POSSIBLE reversal area.” Most weeks he posts a short Bitcoin video update on X, sponsored by the WOO X exchange. He often reads Bitcoin's next move from the S&P 500.
We read 367 of his own posts from 16 March to 7 October, as returned by X search and his profile feed. We charted the ones that give a direction or a level for Bitcoin or Ether in the text. Many of his posts show a path only on the chart; we used the chart to read the box levels but quote only the text. He took a summer break, so July and early August have few posts.

Elliott Wave counts with boxes. He counts five legs up and three down, and marks where a leg should end. He often gives two paths and says which he prefers: “TA is not a matter of crystal ball and choose 1 direction.” He updates the count when price breaks a level, and says so in public, as on 24 May: “Looks like I was wrong”. He rarely gives a date.
Bullish. On 5 October he posted a video titled “Changing my outlook. More up?!” and called for a move “Towards 90k” after a dip. On 7 October his video asked “$90,000 next?”. His long-term target is $170,000.
Ten dated calls from Crypto Ed, all from his own X posts, each checked word for word against the post and charted against real price. The tally is 4 played out, 3 open or mixed, 3 went against.
