In short. Ryan, who posts on X as @TheFlowHorse (formerly Cantering Clark), is a former prop trader with about 286,000 followers. On four dated calls from August to October 2026 that take a side on Bitcoin or Ether, the record is 2 played out, 1 open, 1 went against. He was early and right to turn bearish in October, but bought more Bitcoin at the September top.

Background — what is documented, and what is not

The trader goes by Ryan and by “Horse” online. The X display name reads “Ryan Rossi | Horse”, and the account used to be called @CanteringClark. His own site says he started as an intern nearly 20 years ago, went from a prop desk to trading on his own, and trades stocks, commodity futures and crypto. He lives in New York. In April 2025 he started a paid trading group, The Trading Stable. He also writes a free weekly newsletter, The Stable Report, and posts on YouTube. We found no public track record kept by the trader.

How the sample was built: the X profile feed returned 628 of the account's own posts from 12 August to 8 November 2026. Earlier posts in the price window did not come back, so the sample starts in mid-August. Much of the feed is about stocks, memecoins, his family and trading lessons. We chart every post in the sample that takes an unconditional side on where Bitcoin or Ether goes next, at the first post of each new stance. A stance ends when a post turns neutral or to the other side.

Other direction posts are not charted, but here is how they went. On 15 September, at $78,173, he wrote “I think this still has plenty of sideways left”; Bitcoin rose to $86,597 a week later. On 16 September he expected “a big upward drifting range and chop fest” into year end, with the “Real crypto bull trend” in 2027; that is still open. On 5 October, at $86,490, he wrote “Few more months of this probably”; Bitcoin fell 12.4% to $75,775 by 7 November. On 18 October, at $81,408, he added “I’d say it’s going lower”, which also played out. If-then posts, such as “Above 83 lean in” on 7 September, are not charted.

He trades both ways and says so. In September he removed risk, bought it back and then added more. In October his daily market recaps on X kept saying Bitcoin “Feels lower to me”.

Trading style & philosophy

Flow, positioning and trend. He reads where price is stretched, where positioning is crowded and how the market reacts to news, and trades crypto, index futures and stocks side by side. Many posts compare Bitcoin with the Nasdaq. He says he is a short-term trader most of the time, but holds spot through a trend. Since mid-October he posts a daily recap of stocks and crypto on X.

Outcomes are our read of the stated claim against real price, not the trader's own scoring. Selection: from 628 of the account's own posts between 12 August and 8 November 2026, we chart every post that takes an unconditional side on Bitcoin or Ether, at the first post of each new stance. Other direction posts are listed in the background with their outcome. The 7 October post says “crypto”, and we grade it on Bitcoin. Our price data is daily, so the price for each call is the daily mark for the post's date, and moves within a day are not seen. The $1,000 line on each card assumes buying, so for a bearish call it shows the loss a buyer would have had.
