In short. Axel Adler Jr is an on-chain analyst and CryptoQuant verified author who posts on X as @AxelAdlerJr. On our sample of six in-window calls the record is 4 played out, 1 open or mixed, 1 went against. His regime reads from May to July were right. His August price range was wrong.

Background — what is documented, and what is not

Axel Adler Jr is the name he publishes under. His X bio describes a “Daily on-chain brief: cycle phase, key levels, one clear read” and calls him “CryptoQuant Verified”. Cointelegraph describes him as a contributor to the on-chain analytics platform CryptoQuant. He does not give a location.

The About page of his site says he is “a C-level executive at a leading European investment bank, where he leads advanced analytics for equity markets”, and that his research “has been cited in more than 11,000 financial media publications”. The bank is not named. We could not check either claim.

Most of his briefs describe one or two on-chain or derivatives metrics and end with a “main trigger” and a “main risk”, without a view on direction. We charted only briefs that state a regime or a price range, all from his own site and all free to read. We did not read his paid weekly newsletter.

Trading style & philosophy

Regimes, not targets. Axel reads Bitcoin through cost bases (the average price holders paid), exchange and ETF flows, and futures positioning. He then labels the market risk-on, risk-off or neutral. He rarely names a price target. When he does take a side, he says what would prove him wrong. His regime calls in 2026 held up better than his one monthly price range.

Neutral to cautious in March and April, with a brief risk-on read on 28 April. Risk-off from mid-May. Cautiously constructive from mid-June, when he called the $60K area an accumulation zone. Expected a range-bound August, then called the late-August rally a strong bull regime. Neutral in late September and early October, with no clear directional signal.

Outcomes are our read of the stated claim against real price, not the author's own scoring. Every quote is verbatim from the page linked on its card. Each call is charted at that day's midnight CoinGecko mark; all six briefs went out between 06:00 and 09:00 UTC. Most of his briefs give a trigger and a risk but no direction, and we left those out. The “$1,000 in” line on each card assumes buying Bitcoin on the day. On the bearish 18 May card it shows what a buyer would have lost, not what he said to do.
