Crypto Crew University: wave trend indicator signals potential crisis ahead for Bitcoin
Unusual signals can be found on the wave trend chart for Bitcoin and could be a prelude to a crisis, says Crypto Crew University. According to the analyst, the wave trend indicator is exhibiting behavior without precedent, which may portend the market’s most significant event to date.
The host of the channel notes an anomaly in the current downturn: so far, Bitcoin has not entered the buy zone of the wave trend as it did in previous cycles. One would expect the indicator to be touched at a market bottom as before, denoting good buying opportunities, yet it has stayed well away.
There is also the matter of a 2011 trendline that has a habit of signaling market tops; this is another warning sign. The analyst suggests that if the wave trend ever reaches the buy zone, it would present the best buying opportunity in all of Bitcoin’s history. For now, the setup is serious enough, as evidenced by the record depths of the August 2025 decline. A more in-depth analysis will be presented to the audience in a VIP video on October 23.
Crypto Falcon: correction to $72,000 likely before BTC targets $87,000–$90,000
Crypto Falcon says Bitcoin is currently in a correction and expects it to go lower, likely down to $72,000, before any fresh rally to the $87,000 to $90,000 range can occur.
The analyst points out that BTC entered a correction after reaching $87,000 and is currently around $81,000. He is considering long entries at three particular support levels: $77,200, $75,150, and $72,000.
In his view, the most likely outcome is a correction to $72,000 followed by an upward move. However, he warns not to assume the market will remain rational for as long as one might expect; a 25% pullback is not out of the question. Regarding risks to BTC, Falcon suggests watching the S&P 500, especially with the US Congressional elections having taken place. His advice is to trade the key levels and avoid using leverage.
Crypto Rover: BTC faces heavy sell-off, support eyed at $80,000 and $72,000
Bitcoin is in the midst of a pronounced downturn, with Crypto Rover attributing it to a confluence of poor economic figures and increased institutional selling.
The host points to the recent inflation numbers as the catalyst for the spike in selling pressure; the data was stronger than expected and has raised the prospect of three further rate hikes. The effect can be seen in the kind of selling on the Coinbase premium that has not been evident since the worst of the last bear market. On top of that, Bitcoin has been turned back from an area of resistance it had tested several times.
As for where things stand, Crypto Rover sees initial support for Bitcoin at $79,900, the location of a $20 million buy order, or in the vicinity of $80,000. Should it drop any lower, the 200-day moving average will be the next line of support. A recovery could hinge on the $72,000 mark in his view. He is not giving up on the trend reversal he foresees and has held his position from $58,000 even with the market’s present weakness. Altcoin Daily: long-term upside seen for BTC despite inflation-driven dip
Altcoin Daily reports that the downturn in Bitcoin, a consequence of inflation running hot, is only to be expected and will pass; for the long haul, experts remain optimistic.
The host points to September’s US inflation figures as the culprit, with the Consumer Price Index coming in at 3.7%, an upside surprise. At almost double what the Federal Reserve would have wanted, the number set off a brisk sell-off across crypto, not unlike the $800 billion the S&P 500 saw in market cap evaporate.
Yet one should not read too much into such short-term headwinds. Altcoin Daily makes the case that analysts believe Bitcoin and Ethereum are poised for a supercycle similar to historic rallies. A technical view suggests that after finding support at $27,000 or $28,000, Bitcoin will resume its upward trend. The channel is also quick to say that in light of how the market is shaping up, crypto still has a place in any portfolio, though limit orders are the way to go to keep trading from becoming an emotional affair.
Krown: recovery to $80,000 likely after minor correction
Krown believes that Bitcoin will move past this correction and recover quickly. The analyst expects BTC to reach $80,000 in the coming days.
A look at the historical numbers supports his view: 79 percent of monthly corrections have been followed by a 14.5% median rebound. Krown sees support for the current dip at around $79,800, which he considers the bare minimum for a correction before further upside can occur.
Regarding concerns about inflation or predictions of a 20% drop, the analyst finds them unrealistic and is not giving those worries any weight. With the 5-day moving average expected to be reclaimed and a 7.5% gain possible, he sees no reason for alarm; in his view, the long-term uptrend remains intact.
Bitcoin Magazine: BTC cycle bottom came early, signaling potential for strong Q4 gains
Research published in Bitcoin Magazine indicates that the cryptocurrency is not following the pattern of past midterm election years. Where one would expect a downturn in the latter part of the year, the price has found a bottom and is recovering.
The norm for Bitcoin since 2014 has been a Q4 price drop in any given midterm year, with the market bottoming sometime between 1 and 71 days post-election. Not so this year: 126 days prior to the vote, or June 30, 2023 to be exact, the cycle had already reached a $58,000 bottom, an anomaly in its history.
Bitcoin’s performance in the third quarter of 2023 was a case in point, with a 43% increase that makes it the second strongest Q3 rally on record. And looking at what has come after the fourth quarter in years past, returns have been as much as 92%, 45%, and 25%. The author of the research sees a certain compression in the timing of the cycle and suggests that higher returns may be in store for the next Q4.
Bitcoin Magazine: bitcoin poised for major rally amid growing asset tokenization
An expert from Bitcoin Magazine foresees a period of considerable expansion for the cryptocurrency in the not-too-distant future, driven by growing enthusiasm for asset tokenization.
The analyst sees the tokenization of assets as a way to create new avenues for profit in the world’s financial markets and believes that it will benefit both Ethereum and Bitcoin, with the latter being in an enviable position to make gains.
Regarding technical indicators, the expert notes that Bitcoin is well above its 200-day exponential moving average and has formed a classic ‘cup and handle’ pattern, all pointing to bullishness. The next move may well prove to be among the most noteworthy in the coin’s history. Now that the AI market has had its run, the conditions are right for Bitcoin to put fear aside and attract investors who want something stable and accessible, the expert says; in short, for the asset to consolidate.
