@jackmallers
The record needs two honest caveats. First, his headline price calls sit outside this chart window and the biggest is badly offside: in January 2026 he put Bitcoin at $150,000–$200,000 by the end of 2026, and BTC is at $83,423 with three months to run. Earlier he had framed $250,000 to $1 million “this cycle”. Second, his two sharpest in-window-adjacent posts — “turn on your DCAs” and “Hang in there. BTFD.” — are dated 10 February 2026, before this price window opens, so they cannot be charted here. They were well timed. We do not get to score them.

Dated statements from Mallers's own X account and from third-party press, charted against real price. Fair warning about what this record is: he is a conviction and macro voice, not a level-setter, so four of these five are long-horizon theses that price cannot settle in a seven-month window — they are logged open rather than flattered. A rolling 2026 sample. His famous numbers — $150k–$200k by end-2026 (said January 2026) and $250k–$1M “this cycle” — fall outside this window and are disclosed in the background instead; the first is currently a long way offside.
“Bitcoin always crashes loudly and recovers quietly. Zoom out and watch for lost levels slowly reclaimed through terrible sentiment. We don't need clarity bills or rate cuts. Fiat is broken. The long-term trend is in tact.”
Posted at $81,169: crashes are loud, recoveries are quiet, lost levels get “slowly reclaimed” and the long-term trend is intact — no policy help required. The next day BTC printed the window high of $86,597 (+6.7%), it has not closed below his mark since, and it sits at $83,423 (+2.8%). A week old and a trend claim rather than a level, so it is open — but so far the tape has done what he described.

Posted at $78,974, arguing the next leg arrives as a sudden 30% repricing and that the only correct response is to hold it. A move came, but not that one: BTC first slipped to $75,590 (−4.3%), then climbed to the window high of $86,597 (+9.7%), and sits at $83,423 (+5.6%). Right direction, about a third of the promised rip. Five weeks old and, by design, unfalsifiable on its own timeframe — open.

Fired back at Barstool's Dave Portnoy, who had called Bitcoin headed to zero as it broke under $60k. The direction was right, and the timing near the lows was good: from $62,662 BTC dipped only −6.5% to $58,566, then ran +38.2% to $86,597 and holds $83,423 (+33.1%). But the number in the call is $1,000,000 — roughly 12× from here, with no date attached to it. The dip-buy instinct scored; the target cannot be settled — open.

Speaking at BTC Prague with Bitcoin at $61,480, he argued the drawdown was forced selling into a global liquidity squeeze — cash-raising, not a verdict on Bitcoin — and that “Bitcoin isn't breaking down. It's breaking news.” Price agreed almost immediately: the low after was only −4.7% ($58,566), then a +40.9% run to $86,597, and it still holds $83,423 (+35.7%). His one genuinely near-term read in this window, and it worked.

A multi-year monetisation thesis rather than a level — but the timing belongs on the record. He said it at $80,197, within 2.3% of the spring high ($82,018). Bitcoin then fell 27.0% to $58,566 before recovering to $86,597 (+8.0%) in September, and sits 4.0% above his mark at $83,423. Nothing here is proven or disproven on a cycle timeframe, so it stays open — but anyone who bought the thesis the day he said it sat through a 27% drawdown to be back in profit four months on.

In January 2026 he said Bitcoin would reach $150,000–$200,000 by the end of 2026; with BTC near $83,423 in late September that call is a long way offside. He has separately said Bitcoin is “going to 1M+” with no date attached. Both sit outside our seven-month chart window, which is why they are disclosed in the background rather than scored.
