For honesty, the misses belong on the record too, and they are the long-dated kind. In August 2025 she said “I think we're going over $150k this cycle” — Bitcoin's record high came that October above $125,000 and it has been in a bear market since; $150k never printed. In November 2025 she said she expected Bitcoin to reclaim $100,000 in 2026: with under three months of the year left it sits at $86,440, so that one is currently offside. And in April 2025 she publicly cut her own year-end target — “Before all this tariff kerfuffle, I would have had a higher price target.” Those calls sit outside the chart window below, which is why they are here in words rather than on a chart. On 28 September she told Kitco News the recent bounce owed more to liquidity than to adoption and that the “fast money's already out”; Kitco reports she is not calling for a major rally “in, say, the next three months.” Because that is Kitco's paraphrase wrapped around a fragment of her words, it is noted here rather than charted as a call.

“Bitcoin rarely makes V-shape bottoms outside COVID stimulus-type events.”
Speaking to Natalie Brunell, she refused the bounce narrative: no V-bottom, “I think we're in more of a grind”, and — per Cointelegraph — a market that might still go $10,000 to $20,000 lower before it was done. That is close to exactly what happened. Her 21 February interview has now rolled out of the 210-day price window, so the chart anchors on its first day, 10 March, at $68,431. From there Bitcoin first rallied to $82,018 on 11 May (+19.9%), then broke to $58,566 on 1 July — −14.4%, $9,865 below the anchor and $135 short of the shallow end of the range she flagged — and chopped for months before recovering. It ran +26.5% to $86,597 on 22 September and holds $86,440 (+26.3%). She got the shape right; the catalyst she named did not arrive — the August recovery came on US crypto legislation, not on AI stocks peaking.

A relative call with a horizon running to roughly 2029, made with gold at record highs and crypto sentiment in Extreme Fear. She called gold “somewhat euphoric” and Bitcoin's sentiment “somewhat unfairly negative”. We log it open: only seven of her twenty-four-to-thirty-six months have run. The 6 March interview has rolled out of the 210-day price window, so the chart anchors on 10 March at $68,431; from there Bitcoin's own path has been ugly then good — −14.4% to $58,566 on 1 July, then +26.5% to $86,597 on 22 September, and it holds $86,440 (+26.3%). This chart tracks Bitcoin alone; we do not chart gold, so the ratio she actually bet on is not resolved here either. Judge it in 2029.

Said a week after the cycle low, into the worst sentiment she had ever seen, with Strategy dumping $216M of BTC: she wanted a technical picture pointing “flat to up rather than flat to down”. She got it. From $63,335 Bitcoin dipped just −1.7% to $62,247 the next day and never made a new bottom, then ran +36.7% to $86,597 on 22 September and holds $86,440 (+36.5%). Note what she did not claim: her stated base case was also that Bitcoin would not make a new all-time high this year — at $86,440 against a record above $125,000, that half is still comfortably intact with under three months to go.

On CNBC she argued the “fast money” was washed out and there were “not a lot of downside catalysts” left, with even small gains able to pull technical traders back in. Since then $69,291 has been the floor — Bitcoin has not closed below it once — and price ran +25.0% to $86,597 on 22 September and holds $86,440 (+24.7%). On 28 September she told Kitco News the bounce owed more to liquidity than to adoption. Two caveats we will not hide: this call is only 46 days old, so it can still flip; and she said it into a day when Bitcoin had already jumped more than 6% on the Clarity Act news, so the chart's starting point flatters her. She also said Bitcoin was not necessarily “out of the woods yet”.

She is a researcher, not a licensed adviser, and her record splits by horizon. Her dated 2026 structural calls on this page landed — three of four played out. Her longer-dated numeric calls did not: “$150k this cycle” (August 2025) never printed, and her November 2025 expectation that Bitcoin reclaims $100,000 in 2026 is currently offside at $86,440. She also holds paid board and venture roles in the industry she covers.
