Lark Davis's call on ETH for October 22, 2026: where the author expects the price to go and which levels matter. Other bloggers' calls are added here during the day. This is the author's opinion, not investment advice.
Lark Davis, in his capacity as host, notes that Tom Lee is no longer in the market for Ethereum. With 5% of the supply already in hand, the question is whether ETH can attract new investment.
Davis points out that over the last twelve months Tom Lee accumulated around 70,000 ETH via Bitmine to reach that 5% mark of total supply. But with Lee holding off on any more acquisitions, there is a risk of a demand vacuum if others do not step in.
The channel also observes that institutional interest is being shown by firms such as Deutsche Bank and Charles Schwab, even though the ETF numbers for Ethereum have been negative lately. Then there is the possibility, as Davis sees it, of the price reaching between $20,000 and $50,000 in 2027 on the strength of Ethereum underpinning global finance. Yet one cannot be sure; in the absence of sizeable buyers to take up the slack, ETH will have an uphill battle to keep its momentum going for the time being.
