VirtualBacon: switch to Bitcoin planned if price breaks above $90,000

▲ Long · 23:22 · Watch the video

The author of VirtualBacon has put forward a plan to move all altcoin holdings over to Bitcoin when the price goes above $90,000.

He believes that one should not complicate portfolio management; as the trader behind VirtualBacon, he will have no more than 10 open positions. His approach is agile, regularly rotating among assets in response to the market instead of holding altcoins for the long term.

Should Bitcoin make a run past $90,000, the author will offload his altcoin positions to put everything into Bitcoin and let it become the majority of his portfolio. During a BTC surge, he will take profits from altcoins with momentum and move them back into Bitcoin in anticipation of what comes next. It is a matter of adapting to the market as it changes and rebalancing on a constant basis.

Crypto Capital Venture: potential recovery to $100,000 as current bottom echoes 2022 pattern

An analyst with Crypto Capital Venture sees in Bitcoin a technical resemblance to the 2022 bottom and thinks it is poised for a recovery of sorts, perhaps all the way to $100,000.

In his view, the market structure at present is not unlike what was seen at the 2022 low, an event that was followed by a year in which prices more than doubled. Should the pattern hold, he would put $100,000 as a likely target for a bull phase similar to that one.

The analyst also observes that Bitcoin could be done with its years of compression and may be moving into an expansion cycle similar to the run-up to the 2020 bull market. Then there is the matter of inflation and higher Federal Reserve rates; as 2022 has shown, crypto assets and Bitcoin have been able to perform well under such conditions in the past.

He cites a number of other factors, among them the institutional appetite for altcoins and a risk model of his own design. The numbers from the model show that in the wake of a year with a risk score of 26, Bitcoin’s price was higher 99 percent of the time the following year. With the current volatility, the analyst encourages viewers to use the tools his system offers for risk management and profit planning.

CryptoFateev Ripple XRP Трейдер: potential drop to $76,000 if BTC fails to hold above $82,230 resistance

Bitcoin is in danger of a pullback if it cannot hold above an important resistance level, says CryptoFateev, a Ripple XRP trader. In his view, a failure to stay above $82,230 could see the price drop to $76,000 or so in the short term. He also points to Bitcoin’s 60 percent dominance as something that will weigh on altcoins like XRP.

There is plenty of talk about Ripple XRP making inroads with global banks, from BNP Paribas using Ripple technology and Japan running stablecoin payment trials to the crypto custody service introduced by Germany’s leading bank. Yet the author is not optimistic about Bitcoin’s prospects. A further slide in BTC, he suggests, would have XRP retesting $1.

Evan Aldo of the Paul Barron Network has put forward the view that in the coming six to twelve months Bitcoin is set to outperform the AI sector. The crypto analyst envisions a brief correction for BTC before it makes a strong recovery in 2025.

In his forecast, Aldo sees the price of Bitcoin dipping to between $69,000 and $74,000 by year’s end. Yet he is of the opinion that a rebound to $92,000 is likely next year; due to its relative value at present, BTC is a wiser proposition than an AI stock such as NVIDIA.

Aldo suggests holding onto any BTC rather than selling, calling the current price attractive. A correction may well occur before the year is out, but the overall outlook is positive. He also points to some broader trends in the crypto space: the rise of Asia and what USDC could become as a currency of global reach.

Crypto Jebb: healthy correction to $67,000 could set stage for breakout above $100,000

This call: BTC ▼ down — partly played out

Crypto Jebb is of the opinion that the Bitcoin correction underway is no cause for alarm to the bull market at large and in fact could be an excellent place to put one’s money.

The 90-day run-up to $67,000 is evidence enough for him of the bullish trend. As for the correction into the 0.618 Fibonacci level (in the $67,000 to $69,000 range), he calls it a healthy development, one that should restore liquidity and put the market in position to make its next move up.

There will be some bearish momentum in the short term as the indicators show, but in Jebb’s view it is only a matter of time before the bears’ brief advantage is over. He anticipates a 1-2-3-4-5 wave pattern in the making that has the capacity to take Bitcoin past $100,000. For investors, he also suggests iTrust Capital’s Q strategy as something worth looking at.

Crypto Love: MACD crossover hints at potential bull market for Bitcoin

Crypto Love252K subscribers · few checked calls yet

Crypto Love’s host sees the Bitcoin MACD as an omen of a bull market to come. The analyst has pointed out what he considers an impending bullish crossover in the two-week MACD chart.

It is a matter of record for the expert: whenever there has been a bullish MACD crossover, it has marked a market bottom and ushered in a new bullish period for crypto. At present, the blue line of the MACD is about to cross above the orange signal line on the chart, a move that would indicate positive momentum.

One need only look at 2015, 2018, or 2022 to see similar crossovers; back then, they appeared when Bitcoin had hit bottom and was beginning to recover. The host suggests the current circumstances are not unlike those earlier cycles, with each such crossover being followed by substantial gains in price over the months ahead.

The House Of Crypto: key resistance at $84,000 could define Bitcoin’s next major move

The House Of Crypto has put the market on notice of a key resistance point for Bitcoin at $84,000 that will likely dictate sentiment and where things head in the months ahead. In the view of the channel’s host, should one see a breakout from here it would be indicative of a bull market to come.

That $84,000 mark is a price of consequence, The House Of Crypto notes, having been support back in 2021 and resistance of late. It is also the 50% quantile; half of all Bitcoin was acquired below this figure and half above, so there is an equilibrium of sorts between the bulls and the bears.

Then there is the matter of divided opinion in the market, something Check on Chain’s on-chain figures bear out: a good number of investors are cashing in their losses and leaving, which may keep short-term volatility in check. A strong business cycle expansion is evident with the ISM manufacturing index, and by past experience that bodes well for altcoins and Bitcoin. One can already see some recovery in the altcoin space as Bitcoin dominance wanes and coins such as INJ, TIA, Zcash, Ondo, and Aptos make substantial gains. A move out of the symmetrical triangle on the dominance chart could yet change the dynamic of the market.

Benjamin Cowen: key support levels may decide Bitcoin's next major move soon

Benjamin Cowen sees a great deal of uncertainty in the Bitcoin market at present, one that could go either way over the next few months.

There is a strong case to be made for both the bulls and bears, as Cowen puts it. The former will cite technicals such as RSI and the golden cross in favor of more growth; the latter have historical precedent for corrections after the Federal Reserve has raised rates. Cowen cautions that what looks like a rally may in fact be a false breakout, and if support gives way, a quick correction is to be expected.

Should the price fall below where support now stands, the trader says a material drop and a souring of sentiment for the long term are likely. But holding those levels would open the door to further gains by the end of the year. In any event, Cowen advises keeping a close eye on the key resistance and support numbers, with macroeconomic headwinds like inflation and default rates still affecting how Bitcoin is viewed.

MSCI’s imminent decision on whether to leave crypto firms out of its global indexes is not expected to put a damper on the long-term bullish case for Bitcoin, says Bitcoin Magazine.

The index provider is set to announce if it will be removing such companies as BitGo. Sean Farrell of Fundstrat Global Advisors suggests that any short-term volatility or pressure this puts on stocks will not have much effect on Bitcoin overall.

Farrell remains bullish and has BTC targeted at $95,000 to $100,000 before year end. In his view, even if MSCI’s actions provoke a negative response, the market will quickly adjust, provided current trends continue. He points to the $2 billion stock offering from BitGo and its dollar reserves as a counterweight to any fallout. Additionally, the firm’s intention to alter its dividend structure to put the share price on a firmer footing and attract investors will further contain the impact.

Cointelegraph reports that eToro’s founder believes Bitcoin will eventually reach $250,000 in the long term; when that might happen is another question. For the remainder of the year, he considers a $100,000 price for Bitcoin possible, though it is difficult to predict the timing of the next crypto rally.

Interest in these markets has been sparked by the 24/7 trading available for stocks, oil, and gold on eToro, something the eToro founder attributes to broader adoption of the service. As for traditional finance, Cointelegraph says the U.S. may be at the forefront of round-the-clock stock trading within three to six months, a significant change if not for the outdated infrastructure hindering wider use.

Then there is the question of regulation. The founder foresees an environment where regulated and decentralized markets coexist as crypto regulations are bound to become stricter. Singapore is just one jurisdiction that has been organizing its regulatory framework even in the face of industry challenges.

Blockchain Backer: flat phase above 50-week MA signals early bull trend, upside likely after consolidation

Bitcoin and its altcoin counterparts have been consolidating sideways recently, holding between the 50- and 100-week moving averages now that a bottom has been established, says the Blockchain Backer. The author of the channel sees this as an indication of a bullish trend in its early stages.

In the view of the Blockchain Backer, such a flat market is to be expected after a confirmed bottom; one does not have to look far for precedent, with both Bitcoin and altcoins tending to spend months in equilibrium between the weekly moving averages before making a decisive move. The expert suggests that this kind of action can continue well into the end of the year while the market adjusts to macroeconomic changes and any shifts in investor sentiment.

It is a normal enough phase, but the analyst argues that the current cycle is more complex due to macro forces affecting crypto in ways they have not in previous years. A long-term outlook is what the Blockchain Backer recommends. When the consolidation is over, he expects Bitcoin to begin its next upward leg with altcoins following. For more on the subject and some historical context, his latest Substack has the details.

MoneyZG: slow, steady Bitcoin growth expected near trend line support

▲ Long · 17:14 · Watch the video

The host of MoneyZG sees Bitcoin in close proximity to its trend line and does not anticipate anything but a measured kind of growth for the next few months. In his view, it is no place for a bullish breakout, so he would have investors keep their expectations in check.

There are buyers at the 200-week moving average, which has Bitcoin moving along the trend line, says MoneyZG. One might think the news would be an impediment, with MSCI indexes among others leaving Bitcoin out, yet institutional money is being put to work in the currency. The big capital managers tend to let the price action speak for itself, not the headlines.

Then there is the matter of the previous bear market. As the author reminds us, from $16,000 Bitcoin made a fivefold gain, though it was a slow process. He puts the annual rate of growth at about 30%, and a patient investor will find their portfolio well served in the end. But volatility and a gradual climb are what one should expect of Bitcoin at this stage.

Krown: potential green period if BTC holds above $80,250 after EMA reconnect

Krown suggests that the way Bitcoin has been interacting with its 7-day EMA on the 10-day chart recently is a sign of things to come, namely a recovery. In the analyst’s view, one does not typically see this kind of technical setup without some positive performance to follow.

There was a sort of ‘disconnection’ between the asset and its 7-day EMA on the 10-day chart in recent times, Krown notes, meaning the price action did not make contact with the moving average. But BTC has put support at the EMA to the test; should it close above $80,250 on Saturday, that will constitute a ‘reconnect.’

The numbers show that a ‘reconnect’ is usually followed by gains for Bitcoin 62% of the time, with median returns in the neighborhood of 8% going back to 2018, Krown says. At the same time, he is quick to add that one should take those statistics as indicative only, since what happens next will depend on broader market conditions.

Crypto World’s author notes that Bitcoin has shown a short-term bullish divergence, which may indicate a small uptick over the next few days; nevertheless, the coin is not expected to move outside the $80,000 to $82,000 range.

Technical analysis suggests that Bitcoin is confined to a narrow range within those figures, the host points out, even with the bullish divergence present. There could be a brief move to the upside if the price approaches the $84,500 liquidation level, for example, but more sideways action is expected.

On the US stock market side, any modest rebound is seen as something that could support crypto in the short term. The same goes for Ethereum, XRP, and Solana: they are showing signs of a slight upward movement but for the most part are remaining within their usual ranges.

The Modern Investor: potential for Bitcoin to surge amid traditional finance instability

▲ Long · 12:14 · Watch the video

The Modern Investor254K subscribers · few checked calls yet

MicroStrategy’s $21 million foray into Bitcoin is, in the view of The Modern Investor host, a case in point for the institutional world’s increasing confidence in BTC at a time when one has to question the soundness of the old financial order.

The program cites the company’s most recent purchase as proof that the big names are not shying away from Bitcoin; with 848,250 BTC now on their books, MicroStrategy is doubling down despite having to service considerable debt and put assets to work for dividends. Such an acquisition is seen as an indication of a deeper conviction in what Bitcoin will be worth in the future.

Then there are the experts who put a $450,000 price on Bitcoin by 2029 or 2030, some going so far as to say it could hit $1 million, figures the host puts forward. Should AI hasten the demise of traditional finance, trillions could be funneled into crypto. J.P. Morgan Chase has put the ETF inflows to crypto at $50 billion over the last twelve months, which makes for a compelling argument that any systemic trouble in legacy finance would only add to the upward trend.

Ivan on Tech: key support at $82,000 holds, bullish scenario remains intact

Ivan on Tech531K subscribers · few checked calls yet

Bitcoin is holding the $82,000 support, which is crucial for the bullish case to remain intact, according to Ivan on Tech. The host of the channel notes that a drop below this level does not necessarily end the uptrend we are seeing.

In fact, with Bitcoin staying above $82,000, one can have the most optimistic view of the market at present. Should it fall below that key support, Ivan on Tech sees no reason to expect a bearish reversal; at worst, it would be some consolidation and the long-term trend would remain in place.

Then there is the matter of a move above $86,000, which he says is a buy signal of sorts for altcoins, with speculative ones such as Solana and Zcash being prime examples. Some have already made substantial progress once they turned bullish, TIA among them. As for trading, his advice is to have stop-losses in place and be prepared to re-enter if Bitcoin drops below $82,000 for a time.

Pro Blockchain Media Live: BTC faces existential threat amid inflation and US debt, says Schiff

Peter Schiff believes that Bitcoin’s speculative nature and inflationary tendencies may one day lead to its collapse, making gold the more dependable asset, as he stated in a Pro Blockchain Media Live segment.

The Pro Blockchain Media Live host argues that Bitcoin’s stability is threatened by the US national debt and the ongoing devaluation of fiat currency. In Schiff’s view, BTC is not well understood and is too speculative; gold, by contrast, has been a mainstay of banking reserves for hundreds of years.

There is also the question of whether Bitcoin could ever surpass gold. Schiff says that would require a tenfold increase in price to around $800,000 over the next ten years. He does not give much significance to the new breed of Bitcoin ETFs when compared to traditional assets. To close out the segment, he asks the audience to state whether they think they will see $40,000 gold or an $800,000 Bitcoin.

The writer of Crypto Cotleta is of the opinion that Bitcoin will have to make a further drop to $75,000 before one can expect any real upward momentum. The trader does not foresee altcoins having a growth season on the order of 2017.

He puts the odds as high for Bitcoin to reach $87,800 and fall below $80,000, but a correction to the $75,000 mark is what he would look for prior to going long. In his estimation, key levels and the prevailing trend are to be trusted over technicals on the lower timeframes.

There are sharp declines in store for some altcoins such as Zcash, which could put investors in the red, so an altcoin season is something he has doubts about. The author maintains a positive view of BTC over the longer term but is eyeing a pullback in the near term for a more suitable entry into the next leg of growth.

Crypto Rover: BTC targets $79,000 as falling wedge pattern suggests upside breakout

Crypto Rover has identified a falling wedge in the price action of Bitcoin, a pattern that in the past has broken to the upside 65% of the time. The analyst sees $79,000 as a likely destination for BTC and an important fair value zone.

Statistically, the wedge on the chart is conducive to a bullish breakout, says Crypto Rover, with odds of 65 percent in its favor. He makes a case for $79,000 as a notable target; there are more than $15 million in buy orders at this level, which corresponds to a weekly fair value zone.

Bitcoin may have bounced from its lows but, in the view of Crypto Rover, the market is not out of the woods until there is a definitive breakout. Should BTC be unable to get above $83,800, he warns of a resumption of the downtrend, potentially all the way to $40,000. On the other hand, breaking out of the falling wedge would put $87,400 within reach. As for Ethereum, he notes it is in a downtrend like Bitcoin, but there is scope for a recovery provided key resistance is overcome.

Tony Edward, who pens Thinking Crypto, suggests that Jim Cramer’s bearishness over Bitcoin is actually a harbinger of a bullish reversal; one need only look at the past to see such remarks give way to price rallies.

On the matter of market sentiment, Edward sees the recent close of Bitcoin above $82,800 as a very good sign, given the importance of that support level. A weekly reading of the MACD and RSI leads him to predict a near-term advance to $91,000.

His case for a more positive outlook is supported by wider adoption as well. He cites Ripple working with Cross River Bank on RLUSD, the advent of Mastercard’s Global Money platform, and MoneyGram’s entry into the XDC network. Add to that Standard Chartered’s view that the stablecoin space will be worth $2 trillion by 2030, and the thesis is well supported. Then there is the matter of blockchain being woven into traditional finance, of tokenized stocks and AI crypto payments in America, all of which Edward says add to the likelihood of Bitcoin’s upward trajectory.

Bitcoin Magazine: new bull cycle expected as $57K marks local bottom for BTC

Bitcoin Magazine261K subscribers · few checked calls yet

A Bitcoin Magazine analyst would have one believe that with a bottom of $57K in the rearview, Bitcoin is in the midst of a new bullish cycle. There is on-chain data and technical indicators to back up the notion of a market in recovery.

In June, for instance, large investors reached record levels of accumulation—one of the technical signals this analyst points to as evidence of a fresh cycle getting underway. The on-chain data are also telling, from ETF flows to substantial blockchain buying, all of which suggest a bottom has been put in place.

Then there are the two-week MACD and other technicals that present a textbook case of a bottoming pattern. The analyst makes the case that any chance of BTC dropping to $40K or even $20K is now minimal, given the seller exhaustion on display. One can see the early stages of a bull market in the way Bitcoin has made a quick recovery to between $60K and $80K from its $57K level. And since BTC remains 40% off the all-time high, the analyst sees plenty of upside potential ahead.

Lark Davis: bitcoin supercycle could push BTC to $500,000 if macro trends persist

Lark Davis, host of the show, has put forward the view that the old four-year Bitcoin cycle is over and global macroeconomics will have a greater influence on how the price behaves.

The analyst points to institutional and other large buyers as being firmly committed for the long term; 85-90% of those with a position in a Bitcoin ETF are still accumulating despite market weakness. That kind of resilience is bolstered by new regulations which have made it possible for American traders to use up to 6x leverage at lower cost and with less counterparty risk, all of which bodes well for the market.

Should the ‘supercycle’ hold, Davis sees no reason why Bitcoin would not make its way to $500,000 or Ethereum to $45,000 in the future. He cautions against any talk of a precipitous fall to between $22,000 and $40,000 in the near term as being nothing but risky speculation. In his assessment, it is interest rates and similar factors, or some geopolitical development, that will drive Bitcoin’s next big move. And if liquidity cycles lengthen, one may have to wait until 2028 for the next major peak.

VirtualBacon notes that the 50-week EMA and SMA are currently near $78,400, serving as the main support for Bitcoin; in his view, this makes it an important buying area.

The host behind VirtualBacon points out that in a bull market, these two indicators have historically been key supports for the asset. He references the $26,000 level from last year, for example, where the price did not drop below and it was a good entry point.

For now, he sees a support band at $78,400 and considers the $78,000 to $80,000 range the best area to make some buys, with a stop-loss set at $75,000. A break below $75,000 could indicate a change in the market’s structure and the end of the bull run, in his opinion. The trader believes that one should not be concerned with the typical corrections of an early bull market as long as the support holds, and recommends keeping the majority of one’s position in Bitcoin while allocating a small portion to altcoins during this pullback.
