Bitcoin Magazine: positive institutional inflows and network recovery support bullish BTC outlook

▲ Long · 22:43 · Watch the video

Bitcoin Magazine261K subscribers · few checked calls yet

The present Bitcoin market is in good shape, says Charles Edwards of Capriole Investments and host of Bitcoin Magazine. In his view, the forces of institutional buying and a network on the mend are more than enough to put any quantum or AI-related risks in their place.

Edwards notes that since the $60,000 mark was surpassed, there has been an upsurge in institutional inflows; they now make up about 130 percent of what is mined each day. He credits the demand largely to Bitcoin ETFs, as opposed to trusts, which are not as significant a factor. Then there is the matter of the hash rate: its recovery from a prolonged decline is taken by Edwards as evidence of a healthy network.

In the coming six to twelve months, things will be consequential. A threat from quantum computing could become a bullish catalyst, provided the industry puts forward a plan to fortify Bitcoin’s security. On the macro side, one might expect BTC to be supported by lower interest rates and an increasing global money supply, although Edwards is wary of the possibility of rates staying high for too long. But should the industry fail to show any progress with quantum security in a year’s time, he cautions that the risks for Bitcoin will mount.

The Moon Show: bearish divergence and double top point to likely Bitcoin pullback

On The Moon Show, the host has issued a warning for Bitcoin, pointing to a bearish divergence on the daily chart as evidence of an impending slide.

The analyst from The Moon Show sees this divergence developing on the daily timeframe and says it makes further downside almost certain. Should BTC fail to break above the $71,000 resistance, he believes that long positions will be liquidated and the downward pressure will increase. There is also a double top forming on the daily chart, which lends further credence to the prospect of a fall.

In short, the current market calls for some caution; the analyst considers a bearish outcome likely rather than merely possible. At the same time, he plans to take advantage of any correction to open new positions in altcoins as well as Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Magazine: bitcoin enters super cycle, set to surpass gold’s market cap

Bitcoin Magazine261K subscribers · few checked calls yet

James Thorne, an economist and strategist, believes that Bitcoin is in the midst of a super cycle and will one day surpass gold in terms of market capitalization, according to Bitcoin Magazine. In his view, any recent missteps by the Federal Reserve are only accelerating this process.

Thorne sees a commodity boom reminiscent of previous eras in the making for both Bitcoin and Ethereum, thanks to their place in a global financial system powered by blockchain technology. He even envisions a time when, with BTC having appreciated so much, people will be talking about the value of a satoshi rather than a full Bitcoin before the decade is out.

He has been critical of the Fed for raising rates when negative growth was already being felt due to energy costs; in Thorne’s estimation, such a policy mistake will only add to the appeal of Bitcoin as an unbiased asset. Looking to 2027, he expects to see 10-year bond yields come down to 4% as rates fall. And in what is becoming the new digital order, Thorne urges not to overlook the role stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets will come to play.

CryptoJack: potential drop to 50-week moving average after inflation-triggered selloff

The host of CryptoJack reports that Bitcoin is down 3% following inflation figures that came in above expectations, with the possibility of further losses. The analyst cautions that a move below the 50-week moving average would indicate a more significant correction.

In fact, the latest inflation report triggered a steep 3% decline in price; at 3.7%, the figure was higher than the expected 3.6% and an increase from the previous 3.4%. Such an unwelcome result was enough to trigger about $327 million in liquidations over the course of the day, the expert says, highlighting the volatility of the market.

For now, Bitcoin is trading below a key resistance level that has held firm since March 2024. If it fails to remain above the 50-week moving average, the analyst sees the potential for considerable downside.

The Moon Show: bullish outlook persists despite BTC trading below key $84.4 support

The host of The Moon Show, a trader with $3 million in Bitcoin, sees the market as bullish even though BTC is now trading below the key support at $84.4.

He points to the candlestick chart for evidence of buying pressure just below that line; it was the recent downturn that pushed the price below $84.4, a level of historical significance as both resistance and support. Yet he is not one to close out his positions if the price remains there. A return above $84.4 is necessary in his view to sustain an upbeat outlook, but he makes no promises of a quick turnaround. His approach is consistent with the bullish forecast he puts forward, and he has every confidence in what lies ahead for Bitcoin.

Crypto World: BTC risks deeper drop if $80,000 support fails amid inflation concerns

Higher than anticipated CPI inflation numbers have put the Bitcoin and crypto markets in a bind, as they stoke the prospect of more rate hikes from the Fed, reports Crypto World.

The 3.7% year-on-year increase in the latest figures was above the 3.6% that was expected and has created a negative mood in US equities and crypto alike. In fact, the market is now pricing in as many as four further Fed rate increases before the middle of next year, something that could be a burden for risk assets including Bitcoin, according to Crypto World.

As for BTC, there is support to be found between $80,000 and $82,000. Should that support fail, the author cautions it may lead to a more pronounced correction down to the $75,000-76,000 area. A test of the 60.5 to 61 percent resistance on the dominance chart for Bitcoin would likely give altcoins some strength in the weeks ahead. The same cannot be said for the likes of Ethereum, XRP, and Solana; these major altcoins are under pressure and approaching important support levels.

Crypto Capital Venture: possible dip to $70,000 before next bull market cycle begins

A Crypto Capital Venture analyst has put forward the view that Bitcoin will see a drop into the low $70,000s prior to the advent of a bull market in 2026.

In his assessment, the analyst says that what is happening with Bitcoin now is a correction in the wake of quantitative tightening; one does not have to look far for precedent, as such conditions have been the forerunner to major bull runs. He makes a comparison to the last time around, in September and October of 2020, when a similar correction was evident before the rally.

From a technical standpoint, the 200-day moving average at around $71,000 is singled out as an important support, and should there be more weakness, a test of $70,000 is possible. None of this is to be construed as the beginning of a bear market, though. On-chain and dominance chart structures are reminiscent of the late 2020 bull market, so the analyst considers it more of a prelude to the coming expansion cycle.

The House Of Crypto: potential move to $94,000–$95,000 after retest of $82,000 support

This call: BTC ▲ up — being checked by price until Nov 11

The host of The House Of Crypto sees clear signs of a significant upward move in Bitcoin, supported by the market’s overall sentiment and recent price action. The analyst attributes this to the importance of timing, given the current state of Bitcoin dominance and the macroeconomic environment.

In terms of price, Bitcoin has climbed to around $87,000 and is currently retesting $82,000, which should establish some solid support. If this level holds, Bitcoin could be targeting the $94,000-$95,000 range over the next few weeks.

There has also been a break from an old pattern in Bitcoin dominance, which may signal gains for altcoins. That said, while attention is on what altcoins might offer, especially in the Solana and BASE ecosystems, the short-term outlook for Bitcoin remains bullish, provided the $82,000 support and the macro environment stay intact.

The Modern Investor: BTC price target at $1 million by 2030 on corporate accumulation and inflation

▲ Long · 12:09 · Watch the video

The Modern Investor254K subscribers · few checked calls yet

The Modern Investor puts a $1 million price tag on Bitcoin for 2030, with the prospect of major banks and companies increasing their holdings and inflation on the rise as the main drivers.

One has to look at rising inflation and the way large corporations and financial institutions are building up their crypto assets to understand why The Modern Investor is forecasting that figure in six years’ time. The analyst draws attention to growing institutional interest in cryptocurrencies, exemplified by major purchases such as Ripple’s recent arrangement with Brazil.

There is also the matter of capital flowing into crypto from investors who have grown weary of the AI sector; in the analyst’s view, digital assets will be the alternative of choice. He argues that when retail investors sell their crypto, it is the larger players who support the price, putting down hundreds of millions of dollars in quick order. Additionally, the US regulatory environment and developments in asset tokenization are seen as further catalysts for the market.

Crypto Rover: BTC may jump 8% on positive CPI data, targeting breakout above $83.8k

Crypto Rover believes that the forthcoming CPI data could be a major event for BTC, and if inflation turns out to be on the low side, an 8% jump in price is not out of the question.

The release of the CPI today is being highlighted by Crypto Rover as a potential catalyst for Bitcoin; the figure is expected to be 3.6%. In the analyst’s assessment, a CPI that falls short of forecasts would be enough to trigger a vigorous rally, whereas anything higher could send the market into a decline. There is also the matter of $83,800 resistance: a break above that level and Rover anticipates a swift move to the upside, given the bullish case for a squeeze on the $250 to $300 million in short positions accumulated around $87,700.

On the other hand, some support can be found at around $79,000 from long positions totaling approximately $20 million, which might absorb any downside in the event of disappointing CPI numbers. In short, the analyst regards today’s inflation report as the catalyst for BTC’s next big move.

Altcoin Daily: bitcoin targeting $100,000 as new bull market begins

Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy believes that a new bull market is underway for Bitcoin and that it may well reach the $100,000 mark in the years ahead, according to Altcoin Daily’s host.

The MicroStrategy CEO argues for an upward trajectory that will play out over several years; with the rise of AI in investment, he sees the asset as having the potential to attract those seeking something scarce. As evidence, one need only look at what MicroStrategy has accomplished: since their initial foray into Bitcoin in August 2020, they have seen returns in the range of 52 to 53 percent per year.

Saylor is bullish on several fronts, not least how Bitcoin responds to monetary expansion and how it has recently outperformed gold and the S&P. There are also banking products backed by BTC in the pipeline worth some $100 billion. Add to that the likelihood of more traditional financial institutions coming on board, and he anticipates that will be enough to drive the price up.

Crypto World: BTC expected to trade sideways between $80,000 and $88,000 ahead of CPI

In the near term, Bitcoin will probably see some choppy sideways movement while the market waits for the CPI inflation data, says the author at Crypto World. There is an expectation of volatility once the numbers are released, but in the meantime BTC should remain range-bound.

The channel points to the October 14th release of the CPI at 12:30 PM GMT as a potential source of volatility for crypto markets. The current year-over-year rate of 3.4% is above the Fed’s 2% goal and has left some uncertainty as to whether interest rates will be hiked. While the author puts the odds at 80 percent that the Fed will not act at its late October session, a hike is possible before the year is done or in the first part of next year.

Should the CPI come in above forecasts, Crypto World expects a dump in the markets as traders price in more aggressive rate hikes; conversely, a lower figure may well result in a pump. For the time being, however, one can expect a slight pullback or sideways action from Bitcoin, with it trading in the $80,000 to $88,000 range.
