On X (about 138K followers) the calls are conditional and level-based: “break of X heads to Y.” On this page: seven dated Bitcoin and Ethereum calls from March to October 2026. The late-August “Big Low is in” call has held so far; a May post calling $160K “only a double” was followed by a 28.6% fall. An October post called $100K a “chip shot”, and Bitcoin fell after it.

“BTC. Textbook Cup and handle. 100k chip shot now. Really looks good.”
Tapiero repeated the cup-and-handle read and called $100K a “chip shot now”. The post went up at 21:19 UTC, after the chart's 4 Oct point of $84,743; the screenshot attached to it shows Bitcoin at about $86,014, and the next daily point, 5 Oct, was $86,490. That turned out to be the high. Bitcoin then slid, and on 15 October it was $80,978: −6.4% from the 5 Oct point and −4.4% from the chart point. $100K has not been reached. Open, and so far moving the wrong way.

A direction call with no level. Tapiero argued that the 2-year yield was too high and the Fed needed no more hikes, then called Bitcoin higher, along with Nasdaq, gold and the DAE theme, “into year end”. BTC was $84,842. It rose to $86,490 (+1.9%) on 5 Oct, then fell, and on 15 October it was $80,978 (−4.6%). The horizon is the end of December, so the call is open.

A conditional call with BTC at $81,169, after what Tapiero called a textbook cup-and-handle breakout. The next day Bitcoin closed at $86,597 (+6.7%), its high since; on 15 October it was $80,978 (−0.2%), back below the level at the time of the post. The $100K trigger has not come, so neither has the $120K test. Open.

The miss. Tapiero tied a $160K Bitcoin to the November US elections with BTC at $82,018 — its high for the next four months. It fell to $58,566 on 1 Jul (−28.6%). It went above the call level only in late September, peaking at $86,597 (+5.6%), and on 15 October it was back below it at $80,978 (−1.3%), a long way from $160K. Went against.

Posted on X on 9 March, a day that has since rolled out of this chart's price window, so the chart now anchors at $2,140 on 20 March. The $2,250 trigger came within days, on 17 March, also before the window opens. The $3,300 target did not follow. From the anchor ETH fell to $1,566 (−26.8%) on 26 Jun, recovered to $2,775 (+29.7%) on 22 Sep, and was $2,362 (+10.4%) on 15 October. The break-to-$3,300 path failed once and the target is still unmet. Open.

In September 2026 Tapiero posted that an 85K break gets Bitcoin to 100K “pronto”, and that a solid break of 100K “goes right back to 120k. Could even be this year.” In October Tapiero called Bitcoin higher “into year end” and $100K “a chip shot now”. All four calls are still open on this page.
Of seven dated Bitcoin and Ethereum calls from March to October 2026: one played out (the 24 Aug “Big Low is in”), five are still open, and one — a May post calling $160K “only a double” — was followed by a 28.6% fall.
