Cheeky Crypto's call on XRP for October 23, 2026: where the author expects the price to go and which levels matter. Other bloggers' calls are added here during the day. This is the author's opinion, not investment advice.
XRP could well be at the mercy of market conditions and other events in the fourth quarter, with its performance mirroring either past highs or lows, says an analyst from Cheeky Crypto.
A look back at 12 years of Q4 figures for XRP reveals an average gain of 132%, but the analyst is quick to point out that this is skewed by the exceptional results of 2017, 2014, and 2020. In those three years alone, XRP was up 1000%, over 500%, and more than 200%. If you exclude those, the typical Q4 is not so positive; on average there has been an 11% loss. The record for the last 12 fourth quarters is five gains and seven losses.
XRP is already 12% down from its October opening, which is in line with historical precedent for the quarter. What happens from now on may depend on factors such as a Federal Reserve rate decision or the Ripple Swell conference. For his part, the analyst recommends spreading XRP holdings over a number of exchanges to hedge against risk.
