The dangers of over-leveraging were illustrated by a tale of woe from a Bitcoin trade. He put on 400x leverage and when the stop-loss was hit, the position was liquidated in full, wiping out his investment. It is a salutary lesson in the volatility of cryptocurrencies.

All in all, the segment on The Moon Show made for some instructive viewing for any trader. The WXT trader may be cautiously hopeful, but the message was clear: in your leveraged strategies you cannot afford to be without good risk management and timing.
