The whole process of creating and connecting API keys will not take you more than 5 minutes.
- To create an API key, follow the link https://www.okx.com/account/my-api. Or go to the API tab from your profile in one of the displayed ways
- Enter the required data.
Name — how your key will be displayed in your BuyCrypt account.
API password — needed to protect your key (if you lose or forget it, you will need to create a new API key). Please keep it as you will need it to add the key to BuyCrypt.
Permissions — Please enable only Read and Trade options. Important: the «Withdraw» option must be disabled. This is a guarantee that your exchange balance is only under your control.
You do not need to specify an IP address.
API keys without IP addresses are automatically deleted if you don’t use them for 30 days.
- Enter the code from the Google Authenticator or SMS Code.
To get the code from Google Authenticator, just open the app. Then enter the code and click «Confirm».
To receive the code by e-mail (email code), click «Get code».
- A pop-up window will appear on the screen with information about the created key. Copy the API key and secret key. You can also copy the key information by clicking on «Copy API Information».
Please double-check your permissions — Trade access must be enabled.
- Your created key will appear in the list of keys.
Upon setting API key for exchange chosen go to My Profile tab in BuyCrypt app
In My Profile choose API Keys -> click Add API account or “+” in the top right corner
Choose an exchange and fill in the form or scan QR code, then click Add API Key
