Standard Chartered has put forward a forecast for XRP to reach $28 by 2030, as reported by Cheeky Crypto. To achieve this, the token would have to double in value annually, which it has not done in the last eight years.<\/p>\n

The host at Cheeky Crypto draws attention to the bank\u2019s rather bold numbers: a climb to $2.80 in 2023, $7 in 2027, and the aforementioned $28 mark in 2030. This would require about 108% year-on-year growth, a rate of progress not seen in recent times.<\/p>\n

In fact, over the past eight years XRP has only doubled in value once, and that was followed by a 4x move. Any chance of the token living up to Standard Chartered\u2019s expectations would mean going against its historical trend.
