The past 30 days have seen the top 10 crypto coins gain more than 50 percent, says Tyler S. Traders looking for momentum in the market have been taking note of HBAR, Injective, Aptos, and Zcash on his list of the biggest gainers.

HBAR (Hedera) is a case in point, with an impressive 50% rise over the last month from $0.066 to as much as $0.13, according to Tyler S. Then there is Injective, which has delivered a solid 48% performance to around $8.6, well above its all-time low of $2.7. Zcash has also performed strongly; the coin, with a market cap of over $2 billion, has increased by a remarkable 70% to $150, having been down to $40 only two months ago. As for Aptos, it is up 51% in 30 days. Tyler S points to the fact that Aptos has not made a lower low as an indication of upside potential, so the rally is likely to continue.

Avalanche was in the news for a 52-53% run-up in a week alone, from $7.3 to $12. SWE has broken out with a 60-63% advance, the price going from a historical $0.56 to around $1.3. Athena has left some behind with an 80% gain to trade at $0.18 after a $0.06 bottom. All very typical of the bullishness and volatility found in the top 10 these days, as Tyler S would put it.

On the percentage growth front, some of the more obscure coins have been at the top of the charts. One with a $3-4 billion market cap has gone from $0.04 to $1.18 in 30 days, a 2,850% jump. A $700 million market cap coin has done even better, soaring 15,000% to $0.03 from a low of $0.0002. Quant has been the leader of the pack with a 220% rally in a month to $200 from a $64 low. It is a measure of the kind of price action that can be seen in the crypto market with the right trading volumes and investor appetite.

Tyler S’s review of the top 10 is instructive for the novice, giving a good sense of where the opportunities lie and what is trending. The sort of explosive numbers on display make a case for keeping an eye on projects with momentum as well as the established names. But beginners would do well to appreciate the attendant risk and volatility that comes with such quick gains. For anyone wanting to get to grips with the more dynamic parts of the market, his analysis is worth a look.
