XRP has been put in the bearish crosshairs by Peter Brandt, the technical analyst pointing to where the coin could be headed. While he is of the opinion that XRP’s price action does not bode well for any short-term gains and may yet see a decline, Brandt and CryptoWendyO are of the view that one will find a cleaner technical picture with Monero (XMR) or Solana at present.

For an analyst of Brandt’s repute in the crypto world, this is a clear signal that the asset is exposed to downside risk. The kind of bearish case he makes would have anyone with an eye on the market paying attention to the technicals, whether they are in the process of opening a position or have one to manage.

Brandt has his bearish target for XRP in mind, but he would have one note the more pristine technicals on offer from Monero (XMR) and Solana. CryptoWendyO is of like mind, agreeing that the chart structures are to be preferred over those of XRP at present. With its privacy credentials fitting in with the sort of narratives one sees in the market these days, Monero is something of a standout. And for an investor wanting a well-defined entry point, Solana’s technicals are hard to resist.

In short, CryptoWendyO would put Monero and Solana on an investor’s radar; their charts could be conducive to some accumulation or a strategic move in.

The bearish target on XRP is a source of worry for some holders, but CryptoWendyO would have it known that one needs such targets in a quality project. A dip in price is an opportunity to accumulate for the long term and, should the asset make a comeback, reap better returns. In this light, the bearish case is as much a strategic way to put more XRP in one’s portfolio as it is a risk.

Those wanting to get under the hood of the technicals for XRP, XMR, or Solana are reminded by CryptoWendyO to go back and watch her stream for a detailed analysis of the three coins.
