The most recent installment of Incrypted attributes this to a deliberate move by the CEO to add to the company\u2019s BTC holdings. But the activity did not stop there; Strategy also invested $176 million in preferred stock and began buying back some of its own shares. Taken together, these actions are part of a broader plan to strengthen the balance sheet and diversify investment risk.<\/p>\n
There has been a noticeable drop in buying appetite over the past week, the report says, with Strategy\u2019s considerable $5.7 billion balance cited as a factor.
