The billionaire, who has issues with the law, was entitled to some degree of immunity from criminal prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>Trump was previously charged for his alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election in an attempt to stay in power. He then lost to current president Joe Biden. The latter described the Supreme Court ruling as a \u201cdangerous precedent\u201d and a \u201cterrible disservice\u201d to Americans.<\/p>\n<p>Meme coins related to Trump and Biden experienced a substantial uptick following the announcement. Trumpie (TRUMPIE), Super Trump (STRUMP), Donald Tremp (TREMP), and Jeo Boden (BODEN) are some of the top gainers. Interestingly, the biggest Trump-themed token \u2013 MAGA \u2013 is slightly in the red.<\/p>\n<p>Trump-related meme coins headed north again at the end of last month when the two presidential candidates met in their first public debate. Many Americans expressed concerns about Biden\u2019s age and fitness for office as he struggled to answer some of the questions and seemed quite shaky.<\/p>\n<p>Latest polls indicate that Trump has slightly increased his lead over his opponent: 41.8% versus 40.4%. Robert Kennedy, who collects 9.1% of voter support, is currently in third place.<\/p>\n<h2>Is Trump the Crypto Choice?<\/h2>\n<p>Donald Trump was a fierce critic of the cryptocurrency industry and Bitcoin (BTC) while serving as America\u2019s 45th president. At the beginning of this year, though, he started softening his tone, saying he can \u201clive\u201d with the primary digital asset:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou probably have to do some regulation, as you know. But many people are embracing it, and more and more, I\u2019m seeing people wanting to pay \u201cbitcoin, \u201cand you\u2019re seeing something that\u2019s interesting. So, I can live with it one way or the other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A few months later, he\u00a0described himself as the right choice for the pro-crypto voters, claiming his opponent \u2013 Joe Biden \u2013 and his administration are against the industry:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m fine with it.\u00a0I want to make sure it\u2019s good and solid\u00a0and everything else. But I\u2019m good with it.
