๐Ÿ† Complete Guide to Participating in BuyCrypt Tournaments

๐Ÿ”‘ Key Points

On the BuyCrypt platform, there are two types of tournaments where results are based on PMC or PNL:

  1. PMC Score: If the tournament description mentions PMC Score, the userโ€™s account balance is not important. What matters is how much percentage change they can achieve in price movement. For example, a user buys Bitcoin at $50,000 and sells at $55,000 = a +10% is recorded for the user, and all percentages are summed up.
  2. PNL: If the tournament description mentions PNL, all users are given accounts with the same amount of USDT at the start, and the winner is the one with the highest balance at the end of the tournament.

Participant results are updated every few minutes. If youโ€™ve closed a position but your tournament standing hasnโ€™t changedโ€”just wait a few minutes.

In the app, you can find the tournament page by clicking the โ€œTournamentsโ€ button in the navigation menu.

Once you click it, youโ€™ll see a screen with tournaments, where you can view upcoming, current, and past tournaments using the toggle at the top of the screen:

๐ŸŽฎ Participating in a Tournament

During the tournament, the trading pair will be automatically chosen according to the tournament rules, and you wonโ€™t be able to change it.

๐Ÿช™ PMC Tournament (Price Movement Change)

Here, balance and leverage donโ€™t matter. Only price movement counts.

For example:

  • You open a long position on ETH/USDT at an entry price of $2,500.
  • You close it at $2,550.
  • The net price change is 2% ($2,550 – $2,500).

๐Ÿ’ผ PNL Tournament (Profit and Loss)

All participants receive the same amount of USDT for trading. The winner is the one with the most USDT by the end of the tournament.

โš–๏ธ Balance Tournament

This tournament type will be announced in advance. The main goal is to increase your balance using leverage. All participants start with equal balances, which are reset to ensure fairness.

โš ๏ธ Important Notes

  • If test USDT are liquidated, the user owes nothing to the BuyCrypt platform.
  • Results from positions opened before the tournament wonโ€™t be counted.
  • At the end of the tournament, the system will automatically close all positions.
  • Results are only counted for fully closed positions.
  • A 0.08% commission is charged for every closed position.

๐ŸŽŸ Internal Tour Pass

In addition to free tournaments, BuyCrypt offers paid tournaments. Entry is paid using Tour Passes, which can be won in free tournaments or purchased in the app.

The number of Tour Passes you have is shown in the upper-right corner of the tournament list. You can purchase more by tapping on that number.

The higher the entry fee, the larger the prize pool and the more winning places.
